Close to the river, minutes from downtown, area hospitals and shopping districts, easy access to all major roadways / interstates. Fenced in yard with large patio. Wood & tile floors throughout. Gig Speed WiFi, TV's have Roku streaming w/ Youtube TV, other services available for sign-in. Central AC and fans throughout for comfort. Stainless appliances in the kitchen. Filtered water. We had the best time on vacation. The house was beautiful. It was clean and had everything we needed for cooking. The kids enjoyed the spacious backyard and the ping pong table.

This was an absolutely beautiful location. The area was quiet and the Vrbo wasExactly as advertised and in the pictures.All of us were extremely impressed and comfortable. Communication with the manager Wynn was excellent. We highly recommend this for anyone that is looking for great place to stay on their vacation in Jacksonville. We will definitely stay here again.

The space was very welcoming. Spacious dining area and kitchen. The rooms were a decent size. Bathrooms are a little quaint and there was mold one of the shower curtains. This was very disturbing to see knowing I had my entire family on this trip and they needed to use this restroom daily.

Visiting Our Daughter

We spent the week in Jax to see our daughter. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for cooking. Everything was great! Nice quiet neighborhood, and convenient to stores, etc. Highly recommend!

2025 Getaway from Winter

Great property, great hosts. I wish I hadn’t scheduled up all our time in Jacksonville. Could easily have enjoyed a great trip without ever leaving the house. It’s that good.

A BEAUTIFUL place to spend a wonderful weekend

The pictures do not do this property justice. The owners are very helpful getting us checked in and have done a great job with theirs property. The home is bigger than it looks from the outside. The beds were comfortable. The property provided enough space where we could be to ourselves and be close without being on top of each other. We were visiting for a family reunion. My brother, a Hilton Hotel GM, came by to visit and view the property. He was blown away by how well put together the property was. He gave you 5 stars and I totally agree. If you stay at "Betty's Place" you will NOT be disappointed. Money WELL spent.

Great place except ...

It was an exceptional property that truly served our needs with our family. The grandkids could watch TV on the porch while the rest enjoyed the living room. Only issue is the bed frame/pedestal in the master bedroom. It stuck out past the mattress and I have the bruises to prove it. Put a pillow on the floor so I wouldn't keep walking into it.

Modern update

The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes away from major highways to get you to anywhere in the Jacksonville area. The house was clean, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture for relaxing. The host was very responsive and very interested in making sure our stay was pleasant. If you are going to be in the Jacksonville area I would definitely recommend Betty's Place.

Betty's Place has been in our family since it was built and we enjoyed bringing it new life with a modern update that still values the original comfort and charm of a home well lived.

Original refinished oak wood flooring, a modern kitchen, indoor laundry. Open common spaces give the house a fresh inviting look and dimmable lighting lets you choose your mood. A sun room overlooks the large back yard and opens up to a patio to enjoy the Florida sun under an umbrella with a cold drink in hand. We love this house and think you will too.
