We love this condo. The location is so beautiful. Wake up to the peaceful bay every morning, walk across the street to the family-friendly beach every day. Perfect retreat for our family of 4.

One night stay before offshore fishing trip

We needed a spot for five adults from different towns to meet up and spend the night before heading out on an offshore fishing trip. The location was perfect for us to access the marina, tackle shops, bars, and restaurants. Plenty of room, very relaxing environment, and we enjoyed fishing off the dock for catfish.

Beautiful location, comfortable stay

We spent our family’s fall break in Perdido Key, and LOVED having coffee overlooking the bay every morning. We saw dolphins more than once, right from the deck! Short, easy walk to beautiful beach. We enjoyed walking to the Crab Trap restaurant, as well.Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay

Location was great! The condo was very comfortable. It was great for our group of 5. Everyone loved the deck right on the water. The swing was a favorite! We enjoyed beautiful sunsets with dolphins and an early morning manatee spotting. The end unit is very private and a great location for fishing and crabbing. We are originally from Pensacola. We love to cook fresh seafood anytime we are “home”. The kitchen was perfectly appointed for our feasts!

Kim, thanks for your feedback on the condo. I contacted the property manager and they spray the units every 2 months which is obvious not often enough. They are checking each week now and will spray in between scheduled times as needed. Thanks again. Kim

My husbands family has been coming to Sundown for 37 years, I think it is sage to say this is one of our favorite condos. The location, the cleanliness, the accessibility/privacy. Overall a great experience, and we WILL be back.

Best rental experience possible

Overall, it was the best rental experience I have ever had. The host was more than accommodating and was very accessible and easy to get a hold of. Beautiful corner lot in the condos that offers an abundance of privacy. I will be staying here again.

Best Place !!

This condo was everything we expected and more!! It’s was extremely clean, easy to access and most importantly, the owners were so responsive and made me feel so comfortable asking questions as we had never stayed here before!! So many great places close by and Ms. Elizabeth in the office was absolutely the best!! 10/10 recommend this place!! We will be back!!!

Weekend get away.

Girls Trip 2025

We had a great time and enjoyed this place so much. The beds are the BEST...all of them. We had plenty of space, there were five of us. The balcony was great for our chatting and coffee. The pool was great. No complaints but letting you know the beds are HIGH off the floor. We are all kinda on the short side so it was scary for a minute! We will definately stay again. Love the location, very convient. Very well stocked with whatever you will need for cooking. Overall it was a Great place to stay. Everyone enjoyed it.

Mid-Summer Family Getaway

Very comfortable and clean condo. Rear porch swing was great for morning coffee watching boats go by and beautiful sunsets in the evening. My family enjoyed our stay with me having only one regret...I wish I would have brought my boat! Next time.

What a Sunset!

Stayed with my parents, husband and 2 little kids. Perfect place! Pool is wonderful, beach is across the street. Crossing the street to beach can get a little dicey at busy times, but not a big deal. Condo was updated, clean, and well equipped. The sunset view off the porch is amazing!! Also, nice area for paddle boarding be fishing.

Great for a Weekend Getaway

The condo was a great size for me and my two friends with extra room to spare. Located right on the water with a great view from the balcony. There is a shared dock that is perfect if you want to cast a couple of lines in the water. A five minute walk across the street will take you to a seafood restaurant that has amazing bairdi crab. Will definitely try to book again next time we come down. Thumbs up from all 3 of us 👍👍👍

Great condo

A11 is a great unit that has been updated and was a comfortable unit to call home for a few days! The unit is on the ground floor and is in a quiet corner with a great private balcony that provides views of the bay and beautiful homes. The unit is an easy walk to the private boardwalk and beach. We did have to wait on traffic to pass a few times as you are crossing the main road through Perdido Key! The complex is a little older, but was very quiet and everyone we encountered was very friendly. Seems like maybe there are more permanent residents than renters. Complex is right across the street from the Crab Trap and very close to lots of great restaurants. Recommend the Shrimp Basket and Beignet Cafe! The Flora Bama was overrated in our opinion. The beach was very quiet and nice to walk on. Saw lots of dolphins in the ocean. We were even able to see the Blue Angels practice session in the distance down the beach! The complex is also very close to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores with lots of shopping and dining options. The unit was very clean and the kitchen had all we needed. Keuring and coffee maker. Highly recommend this unit, and Kim was a pleasure to work with. Quick responses and very easy communication.

Family vacation to Sundown Condo

The condo was fabulous! We saw dolphins from the back deck, and my husband even saw a manatee one morning! We could fish off our back deck! The beach was a short walk across the street and the pool was awesome! The furniture was comfortable, with tv's in every room. The bed in the master was so comfy, I didn't want to leave! The only complaint I had was with Vrbo! When we were booking, we tried to get in touch with Vrbo, and stayed on the phone over 30 minutes. She could not help us and escalated it to technical support. We worked it out ourselves, but got an email 5 days later offering to help!!! Too little too late! If we had waited for that, we would have lost the condo!

What’s not to like

We really enjoyed our stay. We were right on the water. We could fish, or sit on the deck & enjoy watching the boats. It was a short walk over to the beach & the pool was nice for the days the ocean was a little rough. It was very peaceful. We will be back. Also, our rooms were clean & the kitchen has everything you need if you choose to cook.

Perfect for us!

Everything was a breeze at Sundown A11. We loved the location!! The condo was very well updated and had plenty of room for my family of 4 and a few more. Definitely will try to revisit this condo! Don’t let that it’s not “on the beach” deter you because, the walk across the road is shorter than most board walks..and the road you cross is not very busy.

Not as expected

Upon arrival initial thoughts were underwhelming. Boatyard was very difficult to park trailer because other residents were parked too close to boatyard entrance. The condo itself has evidence of water damage as the subfloor was settling and uneven in lots of places with air fresheners everywhere to try and mask the musk. The pool was desperate for some maintenance. The concrete was cracking all around and no daily skimming or vacuuming took place while we were there. Lots of bugs and trash in water. The beach was across the busy street and very dangerous to cross with kids. For the money there are better options.

Beautiful condo and location

The condo was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. My family really enjoyed hanging out on the back deck and looking out over the water. the first morning there I got to see a few dolphins swim by. The teens would hang out on the deck all night also. The swimming pool is huge and well kept. Overall for my family it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again.

Location and easy access to beach.

This condo is on the corner and is very private. Sunsets were amazing and watching the dolphins literally 20’ away were perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

Rest and relaxation

Wonderful property. Close to everything we wanted to do. Love being on the bayside so relaxing on the huge deck. Perfect to hang out with coffee in the morning and to sit and watch the beautiful sunsets at night! Condo itself was so nice and the hosts had lots of extra touches. Everything you would need was there! Would definitely book again!!

I am an ER physician in Meridian, Ms which is about 3.5 hours away from our beach home. I practice at Anderson Regional Medical Center where I have been the ER director for 41 years. We began renting our condo after the kids were grown and were not coming to the beach as often as we used to.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

You have the best of both worlds at Sundown with the bay and the beach. Our kids grew up fishing and crabbing on the pier and also only a short walk to the beach on Sundown's private boardwalk. The beach is never crowded at Sundown as can be the case where there are multiple high rise condos in the Orange Beach area. Very quiet and peaceful but only 1.3 miles to the Florabama if you are looking for night life.
