Charming Newly Renovated Bethany Beach Cottage 1/2 Block to Beach & Town Center

Overflowing with charm and a prime location, this newly renovated Bethany Beach cottage is located a 1/2 walking block to the beach and only two streets over from downtown restaurants and shopping.

In this bright and airy summer home, the character was preserved with original wood floors and shiplap white walls while every detail was considered including brand new bathrooms and a modern kitchen.

Constant ocean breezes make the outdoor living space as relaxing as the inside with a newly screened and furnished front porch, new back deck with dining area and a large backyard with Adirondack chairs, 2 picnic tables, a large new outdoor shower, and charcoal grill.

Full kitchen includes all new appliances: microwave, dishwasher, oven and gas cook top/stove. Full size washer and dryer. Beautifully decorated family room has 55" wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix and Chromecast. Remote control ductless HVAC throughout.

Main level also includes a den/tv room and includes full bath with shower. Second level has four bedrooms (two Queen bedrooms; one Full bedroom and a bedroom with two built-in twins/single beds) and full bath with Rain shower. Please plan to bring or rent linens (ie: sheets, bath towels, beach towels, etc).

It was a wonderful family vacation. The house is cozy and perfectly beachy. The location is absolutely the best. The screened in front porch served us well. We could really feel the ocean breeze with our morning coffee and evening drinks. Tina was responsive and supportive. It was an all around perfect family vacation. Thank you.

This is a great location for families staying in Bethany. We loved the convenient beach access and proximity to downtown Bethany and boardwalk. The house itself is quaint and well stocked for whatever you might need. The front porch and back deck are great for meals and evenings. The bedrooms are small and there is only one bathroom upstairs. Having a first floor bathroom and nice sized kitchen that opens to the living room is a plus. The parking available on the side of the house is tight for a SUV or minivan BUT the parking is very spacious and nice in the back. Overall the house was very clean, very comfortable, and in a fantastic location. The owner Tina was very responsive when we reached out with questions. While smaller than other properties we have stayed in, we liked that it felt cozy and loved the location.

Great house, great location The house was tidy and easy to live in with 6 adults and 1 11 month old who was just beginning to walk. We loved the front screened in porch for our early morning coffee Tina, the owner was very accommodating.

Perfect beach bungalow

The property is well located on a nice street just a half block from the beach. A classic beach bungalow, but clean, comfortable and updated. The bedrooms have ample storage space and the common areas are roomy. There is no dining table but the counter area is useful and there are three picnic tables outside on the deck or the lawn area (great for letting the kids run around). The front porch is wide and catches a lovely breeze. There is a nice den but, be aware, this room is not appropriate to use as a bedroom, as it has no door and the sofa - described as a double bed - does not appear to open and would not be appropriate for sleeping. The owner is responsive and seems to care about the comfort and welfare of her renters. We would definitely rent this property again next year but, since our son announced on the beach that another baby is on the way, we'll have outgrown the maximum capacity ... :)

Perfect beach stay!

This property was everything that was advertised and more. It was absolutely immaculate, had tons of windows to let light in, and was in the perfect walkable location. The house was fully updated / renovated as noted in the description, and the space had everything we need but was uncluttered - it made making ourselves at home super simple. We had a couple of questions, and the host, Tina, was extremely responsive and easy to work with.

Classic 5-Star Bethany Beach Cottage & Vacation

Absolute classic family Bethany Beach trip, due in large part to this fantastic cottage one block from the beach and two blocks from "town." Seamless communication and check-in. Tina (host) was engaged, responsive and generally seems like a great person. The cottage is recently renovated, and the owners/hosts did an awesome job ensuring everything felt clean, modern and usable while keeping the old-school cottage authenticity that make the place particularly cozy and beachy. Location is unbeatable. The cottage scores extra points for cool mornings w/ coffee on the front porch and breezy evenings with pizza and cocktails on the back deck. There's even a small yard for soccer with the kids. Thanks, Tina, for having us. We hope to return to next summer!
