You will be just steps away from the sparkling lagoon swimming pool, hot tub, bbq grills, picnic area, and fitness room! Spend warm summer evenings relaxing on the oversize balcony, and take in lush resort views. Our Pilot House condo is in the center of it all. You will enjoy the sugar white beach, entertainment at the Baytowne Wharf, and the most beautiful lagoon style swimming pool complex on the Resort. Resort guests can take advantage of amenities galore - beach fun, boating, tennis, golf, walking trails, a marina, fishing, and more.

Our stylish 2BR-2BA offers a king bed, a full living area with an HDTV, a fully stocked kitchen, and a full bathroom. For unexpected guests, the living area is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa. The guest suite has a full bathroom and queen bed and sleeper sofa. A nearby elevator makes this unit easily accessible to the pool amenities level. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer, and wifi is complimentary.

Walk right out the front door of the Pilot House and wander over to the Village at Baytowne Wharf which is a delight! Walk to world class restaurants, boutique shopping, and a variety of family-friendly activities such as a zip line, bungee-trampoline jumping, evening entertainment, a carousel, rock climbing wall, a kids playground area and remote controlled boats. There are often 'movies on the lawn', art displays, festivals, and special events held at Baytowne Wharf which is the heartbeat of the Resort. Fireworks are a weekly treat during summer time.

The tram stop is a few steps away, and makes the trip to the beach a snap! Enjoy a fun stay at #316 Pilot House!

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

SPRING BREAK

Great location! Right next to the pool and so close to Baytowne night life. Loved having the golf cart and the onsuite was perfect for our family guest. Would stay again!

Great location!

We loved this location - fun to be right in the action of the wharf, but not loud at night. So close to the pool - we popped back to the condo throughout the day when we needed more snacks or drinks with ease. Golf cart makes it easy to head to the beach, marina, Publix, shopping.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the Pilot House was nothing short of amazing. The listing was spot on and the home had plenty of space for our family of 5. We utilized every inch of the condo as well as took full advantage of the pool. We especially loved the ability to see the pool from our patio. Allowed mom and dad some reading time while the kids played. Golf cart was an added bonus as well. Kept us from renting a car and made getting to and from the beach a breeze! Will definitely be returning!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was clean, comfortable, and a perfect location. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the patio and the mattresses were quite nice. My only complaint is that the kitchen did not have a spatula. We cooked most of our meals while we were there, so the next time we book this location, I will remember to pack our own spatula. Also, many other guests did not adhere to the one parking spot rule. This was not the fault of this property, but could be better managed by the rental company.

Fantastic get away in SanDestin

Pros - Very clean and spacious, enough for all 6 of us to spread out. Pool and hot tub area were beautiful, gym had everything we needed! Comfortable beds and couch, we loved how we could separate both rooms for privacy (like having 2 hotel rooms!) The golf cart usage was a definite bonus as my hubby is handicapped and appreciated being able to travel around the resort with everyone else! Check-in was easy once I got the app, they were very responsive to questions. We would definitely return and stay here again! Cons - they are upfront about info but to emphasize, it is minimally equipped. Like one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, two trash bags, one bath towel for each person, etc. Very limited supplies, silverware, dishes. You will want to stop for coffee and filters prior to coming in if it's a priority in the mornings. I've rented many condos that provide extras or let other guests leave things they've bought behind. It would be nice if this condo had some beach items for familys to borrow like chairs, and was equipped with a few more supplies like extra towels, enough toilet paper to get a family of six through the week, etc.

A bit disappointed

While San Destin doesn't disappoint, this location was lackluster. We spent a lot of money to stay here and hoped to cook a good part of our meals, as eating out was expensive, We couldn't as there was one small saucepan. There were several frying pans but that didn't work for everything. This unit slept 8 people and there were 2 coffee cups. One of the bathrooms had such low water pressure that the shower was not usable, I let the property manager know, and they sent someone twice, however, the problem was never fixed. So six people showering in one bathroom it was a challenge. This unit just needs some repairs, the coffee table at some point had broke and was being held together with a metal bracket – unsafe. The baseboards are made of particleboard and most of them are chipping and expanding. The dishwasher leaks (noted in a previous review). The screen door was extremely hard to open/close. For the cost, I would expect the place to be in much better repair. On the upside, the golf cart was great, the property management company was very responsive, although they were not able to fix our water issue. But they always responded promptly.

October 2023 Stay

First off, property wasn’t as described. When I booked it clearly STATED and PICTURED 2 queen beds in the guest bedroom… there was only 1. I had fighting children about who gets the bed. They offered me 10% off which is really nothing and an air mattress which we made work. The lint trap was still broken which I actually read in the last guests review. They brought a replacement. The hot tub was broken the whole length of our stay but we used the heated saltwater pool a couple blocks down. The fitted sheets would not stay in place, so annoying! The outlets in the bedroom were loose and no plugs would stay in. The property management company was very responsive to all my complaints and tried to make me happy upon arrival because I was far from happy! We loved the golf cart to drive to the beach and we were able to drive it to the strip to eat and shop. Loved the Wharf area. Overall it was nice but compared to other condos we’ve stayed at this one was disappointing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this condo. The location makes it so nice being able to walk out directly to the pool and Baytowne. The Golf cart was so much fun and nice to drive to beach/grocery store. Beds were comfy and felt right at home. Only recommendation is I wish this condo was a little more stocked on beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys and supplies like this because it came with nothing, also a pack and play would be a nice touch to include that other rentals sometimes have. Overall we had a great vacation and loved this place! We will be back hopefully!!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If anyone out there is planning to rent this property-DON’T. This place is very very old and needs to be updated. Some of the burners on the stove did not work and the dishwasher always leaked. No living room chairs to sit on and a couch that is probably 30 years old and very uncomfortable. The silverware and dishes were old and only half there. We had to buy a descent skillet because the one provided was so dirty we could not get it cleaned enough to use. Needless to say this was not a good stay.

October 2023 Stay

Unit is conveniently located. There are aesthetic repairs that need to be made… fence outside the unit needs to be repaired, paint chipped, baseboards need repair. We weren’t able to use the foldout bed that was part of the living room couch. It had several metal wires sticking out (dangerous) and wouldn’t actually fold out. The mattress was also dirty appearing so my son just slept on the couch. We had to set the mop and bucket outside on the porch because of the disgusting odor it caused in the pantry area. The lint trap on the dryer is broken and could present a fire hazard if not replaced. Check-in was easy and exactly as stated. Last, the living room was very awkward since only 3 people could sit together and watch TV. It needs another chair or somewhere else to sit.
