Great place for a family vacation

We had a group of 5 adults and 3 kids under 7. We had plenty of room to move around and have our own space when needed.

Great location for Spring Break!

We were very happy with the property overall - clean, beautiful views and easy access to everything. Living room could use new furniture and check-in was frustrating as “check-in beginning at 4:00” apparently means check-in between 4:00-6:00 so we had to sit in the car for an hour before getting the code to the condo. Other than that, we had a wonderful trip!

We are glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay with us. Our check in time does start at 4pm and can go up until 6pm depending on the number of arrivals we have for that day. We do apologize that you had to wait awhile, however we do work as hard as we can to not have our guests waiting beyond 4pm.

Reviewer Comments: The patio chairs were so uncomfortable it made the patio experience not relaxing at all. The high-top chairs need new cushions. There is mold on the vanity in the second bathroom. The same bathroom toilet leaked and soaked all the clothes in a suitcase on the floor. The beach chair attendant was a jerk.

The view from the 6th floor was absolutely stunning! We had a problem with the AC upon arrival and the maintenance staff was very quick to come fix it. Our kids loved the pool! We loved everything ab the condo & loved our stay!!!! As far as the building - the need to do something w/that VERY SLOW elevator but that has nothing to do w/this unit.

First trip to Ft Walton

Carpeting in bedrooms is old, stained and looks very dirty. The carpet really should be replaced. With that change, , the condo would be fabulous. We loved the large balcony and spent a lot of mornings and evenings out there.

We appreciate you taking the time to submit feedback from your recent stay at the Islander Beach Resorts in lovely unit 6011. These 3 bedroom condos are just great and this one has some great updates so far! The living room flooring was first to be upgraded, we'll be sure to relay your comments on the carpets remaining in the condo to the condo owner. We are also in Deep Clean season so these carpets will be steamed and sanitized throughout to get them back up to standards. The balcony size in these three bedrooms is really such a perk to renting these, not to forget the master bedroom has direct access to the balcony. There's truly nothing better than waking up to and drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico waves lapping our hard to find white soft sandy beaches. Thank you for renting through Brooks and Shorey Resorts, we really hope to have you back in the near future!!
