Overall pretty clean but the pull out needs some attention. Pool was amazing! Located in a great area and very quick trip to the beach so that was great. Only suggestion I would make is add some basic cleaning supplies but all and all great trip.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly appreciate it, and we're sorry to hear your stay fell short of the experience we strive to deliver. The cleanliness issues you describe — crumbs on the counter, an unclean oven, a dirty quilt, dirty furniture, and cigarette butts in the pool area — are absolutely not the standard we hold ourselves to. We sincerely apologize, and we're reviewing our cleaning and inspection routines so we can do better. We do see that you reported the dryer not working during your stay, and we're sorry for that inconvenience. The other concerns, however, weren't brought to our attention at the time, so we unfortunately didn't have the chance to make them right while you were still here. We always welcome a direct message the moment something isn't perfect — it lets us jump in quickly and turn things around. Your honest comments help us grow, and we'd be grateful for the opportunity to show you a much smoother, cleaner experience in the future. -Life in Paradise Team

Great family rental

Great location, close to town with easy access to restaurants and close to beach accesses! Pool was so nice to enjoy after a day at the beach or while the kids nap! Room sizes and layouts were perfect for our group and house had all necessities we needed. Highly recommend!

The house is great the pool is great 8 out of 10 on that part. The cleanliness of the house did not exist the base boards all thru the the house was disgusting the floors doesn’t even look like they were swept The ice machine in the fridge quit working on us so we had to buy ice 3 times (fun)there was only 4 rolls of toilet paper in the whole house for 10 people for 5 nights so you know how well that worked out the main problem is the pull out bed in the living room It was PURE disgusting their was stains all over the matters cover we had to put a blanket on it just so someone could lay on it and we were still a little worried there was only 6 bath towels in the whole house again for 10 people for a week but like I said the house and pool a great but I would definitely check into the cleaning company because they are not doing there job

Wonderful Stay

This property was in a good location near sonic and dollar general, easy access, clean and beautiful. It provided everything I needed as I traveled with a 2 hrs old, 7 year old and teenager (plus adults). Only 7 minutes from the ferry and perfect distance from the beach entrance. Definitely enjoyed my stay here and plan on coming back.

Birthday Weekend

The stay was wonderful for us but not our dog. The house states that it’s pet friendly but there was no area for our dog to do their business that didn’t have stickers. There wasn’t much grass and those areas that did have a patch or 2 of grass were covered in stickers. The owner needs to invest in a small area of grass if they are going to call themselves pet friendly.

Great house not so great location

The house was clean and new. It is a beautiful home with great space for our family. There is a lot of parking and the pool was an awesome bonus. There were no extra sheets, pillows or blankets. You have to cross highway 361 to get to the property, if you’re in a golf cart it is illegal. There were so many mosquitoes. We have come every year to Port A and have never had this issue. Overall great house but not the best location.

We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness and spaciousness of the house, as well as the bonus of the pool. It's always heartwarming to know that our property can provide a comfortable and enjoyable space for families like yours. We genuinely appreciate your feedback regarding the lack of extra sheets, pillows, and blankets. In the future, if you find yourself in need of additional linens, please don't hesitate to reach out directly to us. We are always here to assist and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Regarding the mosquitoes, we understand how they can be a nuisance. This year, the mosquito population has been heavier than usual due to the increased rainfall. Rest assured, the city does take measures to spray for them regularly, and we are continually working to minimize their presence around the property. We also want to highlight that this property is not located in a golf cart-friendly area. Crossing Highway 361 in a golf cart is indeed illegal, and we apologize if this caused any inconvenience during your stay. While the location may not have been ideal for your specific needs, we're grateful that you still found the house to be great overall. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to improve and provide the best possible experience for our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Port A in the future and provide you with an even better stay next time. -Life in Paradise Team

Decent place would recommend

Our over all stay was good. The pool was definitely nice to have, we had enough space for our family and it was decorated nicely. Supplies was a bit low for as many people that are able to stay in the home, not enough towels or linens, we used the pull out couch and had nothing to make it. Luckily we had brought extra throw blankets for the road trip to be comfy. Otherwise my son would have had nothing to use to sleep. Kitchen was decently equipped with dishes to serve and cook but a hotpad, a couple more dish towels and a sponge in the kitchen would have been nice. We were constantly doing laundry to make sure everyone had clean towels to shower with every other day. The dryer did not work properly. We called and they did send someone out quickly, unfortunately what he tried to do to help the situation didn’t. He said he could come back if we needed. But we just decided not to mess with it a second time. House did stay nice and cool. The beds were great, pillows were very flat and cheap feeling. Thankfully we had a family member come to join later so he was able to bring us all of our pillows. We normally bring them, but we didn’t have space in car this time. I would suggest a heads up when the pool cleaning crew is coming, we planned a pool day but that got postponed due to not knowing it was to be shocked that day. I could have planned accordingly if I had known that. All the WiFi and TV’s provided worked perfectly. All and all I would recommend. Nice place.

It’s great to know the house stayed cool, the beds were comfortable, and the WiFi and TVs worked perfectly for your family. We’re sorry to hear about the challenges with supplies, towels, and the pull-out couch linens. Your feedback about the kitchen items, pillows, and laundry situation is very helpful, and we’ll work on improving these areas to better accommodate larger groups. We also apologize for the inconvenience with the dryer and the unexpected pool maintenance. We’ll make sure to communicate pool cleaning schedules more clearly in the future to help guests plan their days. Thank you for your recommendation and for sharing your experience.
