The house smelled really musty so we had to open all windows and aur it out. The living room was beautiful and very nicely decorated. The bedrooms were very small an no room to walk on either side. So tight a fit that there wasn't room to open the suitcases any where. There was way too much furniture crammed into the kitchen area making it difficult to move around. Table had to be move to one side so we could sit on other side. Deck was a real hazard. Platform anf steps are NOT connected and you need to jump from steps to front deck. Railing on deck was really wobbly and dangerous so do NOT use it or lean on it. Appliances were nice and worked fine. Bathrooms were small but nice with shampoo, creme rinse and soap. Bed linens were also supplied. Bistro table in kitchen was wobbly. Would've been better tonot have that and move TV seating area there. Then could move dining table there and have more room. It was a nice place for a 1 day stay.

Perfect for our group of 6. Thanks for offering a one night stay option!At the last little intersection, Google maps had us turn right and we were confused for a bit. The property was down the left road. No big deal, just a tip for future renters.

Great chalet

Check in was a breeze as well as the check out process. The house is very nice with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was great for 2 couples. It is very close to the ski resort and community stores.

Place was clean, a few quirky construction ideas. Beds were comfortable but the rooms were a bit tight. Worked great for us for two days stay.

Family Vacation Base

This was a terrific staging ground for our family, as people traveled north to Anchorage and South to Seward. Very relaxing set up allowing us to catch up with each other.

Great home stay- will stay at again

The home was clean, and she had some tea and coffee available. The neighborhood is wonderful, and it was fun walking around. The mattresses are great,t and she even has a twin air mattress that is available for use. The towels are soft and work well. The description states that there are 3 beds in one room, but there is only one bed per bedroom. We knew this beforehand because I contacted the owner. I would stay here again.

Ski Chalet hideaway

The checkin process was great and communication outstanding. Each room was unique and gave the entire house an understated charm. Perfect for 5-6 adults. The kitchen and dining area were perfect with a comfortable family area to view a movie after taking a tram ride up the slopes.

Great location!

Cute house with great views of the surrounding mountains! Inside was clean and well stocked with all listed amenities. Nice washer and dryer. Comfy furniture. Fire pit outside had chairs but the bushes/trees on the property were quite overgrown.

Girls trip

Beautiful home with lots of room for everyone. Only fault are low ceilings in the downstairs bedroom and stair way. Im am not a tall person and hit my head multiple times, lol. But if we are ever in this area again i would definitely stay here.

I was looking for a way to stay on the slopes longer! Having a slope-side cabin allowed us the have the freedom of coming and going all day, with all the comforts of home and hot cocoa whenever we wanted! Location was a prime consideration as well. Girdwood can get a bit busy, so I was looking for a quiet cul-de-sac that would be relaxing after a long day of skiing.

This chalet is within walking distance of the slopes and shops. When you arrive, the car can stay parked until it's time to check out!
