Newly renovated 2B/1b in Downtown

This 2B/1b Unit is newly renovated with double paneled windows and sliding door to reduce outside noise, new ceiling lights and kitchen lights give it a modern feel, while bright up the space. The fogless bathroom LED mirror is my favor.
This 2B1b apartment is located in the center of Lafayette, a quiet town in the East Bay of San Francisco. It is a safe and pleasant neighborhood and close to public transportation: bus/ Bart station, also walkable to many local’s favorite restaurants and supermarkets like Whole Foods; Safeway; Trader Joe’s. Close to downtown Walnut Creek and UC Berkeley as well.

We really appreciated how family friendly this apartment was! Everything was so clean and safe for our little ones. And it’s such a convenient location just a block away from a playground and a short walk from downtown.

Very nice remodel

I didn’t realize we would be in an apartment setting. Most of the tenants lived there. Lots of kids running around and people coming and going. Someone had U-Haul Pods that blocked the visitor spaces. Besides that, the unit was clean and comfortable. The upstairs neighbor was pretty quiet. The dishes were adequate just not plentiful. I needed mixing bowls and couldn’t find them. There are 6 plates, 6 bowls, etc. No dishwasher. Laundry was not in unit, it was shared in the apartment building. Location was great. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Beautiful neighborhood also. Owner was very responsive and cleaning crew was great. We met them because previous tenant had left a huge stinky mess which they took care of it. Just took them longer than anticipated. One comment for all VRBO’s. Have a light in living area that has just one bulb. Like a lamp! That way, one person can be up without having to disturb others. Beds were comfortable and everything was new and felt unused. That was awesome. Air conditioners in each room. Bathroom was a tub and shower. One very small bathroom which was ok. Our other guest only came for one day, so that wasn’t an issue. Again, we loved the location. And furniture was adequate and clean.

A Relaxing Stay

What a great location! Short walking distance to the cutest shops & restaurants. And yet nearby was Trader Joes & other fun stores. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes & utensils needed. The only thing I recommend is additional lighting in living room. A table lamp

Nice but noisy

The property is very clean and cared for. The upstairs neighbors are super noisy at night. We did not sleep at all one night.

Perfect Location

I was here for work so it was the perfect location for commuting to our Oakland and Lafayette offices. I was able to walk to stores and restaurants. Also safe to take walks after work.

Excellent Stay

The property was exactly as described. Pleasant neighborhood near an elementary school, but not at all loud. Walking distance to grocery store and close onsite parking.

Lovely, comfortable apartment

We stayed for 10 nights in this apartment. It is on the ground floor of a courtyard style small apartment complex. It is has been completely and very recently updated/decorated. The decor is very attractive and it is immaculately clean and well organized. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. There are fans and air conditioning, but we didn't need them much at all. Communication with the manager was prompt and we had no issues with our stay. I definitely recommend this apartment. The one issue to be aware of is that many families live in this complex and children play in the courtyard between 3:00 and dinner time every day and on the weekends. They make lots of happy noise, which I really enjoyed actually, but if you don't like children or need a very quiet environment this might be an issue. This did not detract from our stay, but is a "home truth" that renters may want to be aware of.
