Our newly remodeled circa-1925 suite offers a private deck & entrance, pick-your-own garden, hot tub, clawfoot tub, indoor fireplace, plush king-size bed, full-size sofa bed, outdoor grill, fire pit, daybed love nest & more — all within walking distance to both downtown & the River Arts District.

Nestled in Asheville’s historic Montford neighborhood, this cozy garden hideaway encompasses the best of both worlds, offering a luxury retreat into nature -- right in the heart of the city.

You’re just a one-mile walk from the center of downtown (Pritchard Park, home of Asheville’s infamous Friday night drum circle!) and all of the best breweries and restaurants Asheville has to offer. If you’re in town to enjoy the music or art scene the River Arts District provides, you’re equally centrally located -- the ten-mile riverside pedestrian and bike path begins right at the bottom of the hill.

If you're visiting for a personal retreat or romantic sojourn in the mountains, take advantage of your personal hot tub (privacy screens included to ensure maximum solitude), indoor gas fireplace, clawfoot tub and private deck to relax, renew and recharge.

Beautiful property and very convenient location. Access to vegetable garden and fire pit made my stay feel like home. I stayed alone but this property would be great for couples. The space is private and enjoys a beautiful view from the deck. The owner is very passionate about growing vegetables, herbs, tropical plants and flowers which adds a terrific natural beauty to the property. I would certainly stay here again.

Weekend Getaway to Asheville

My wife and I love coming to Asheville a few times a year as we live in Tennessee and we like staying in different VRBO’s each time we go. This location is by far the best VRBO that we have stayed in over the years. The cleanliness, the amenities, the comfort, the style of the interior is top notch and can’t be overstated. The owner’s communication is timely and concise. We would definitely stay here again! Also, this is our first visit since the Hurricane and although this area was affected by the damage, Asheville is rebuilding and don’t let that keep you from visiting the great restaurants, shops and breweries this town has to offer!

Beautiful home with a wonderful host!

This place is absolutely amazing. My partner and I visited for our anniversary trip and we were blown away by the stunning garden, cozy decor and the friendliness of the host, Monroe. She was amazing and provided great recommendations around town for us to visit, along with checking in and making sure we had everything we needed! I look forward to staying here again!

Cute and comfortable

This property was a perfect spot for our girls' weekend in Asheville. Close to everything we wanted to do and comfortable for hanging out. It was super clean and felt very spacious...the bathtub is fabulous! It felt very private and the outside space is perfect!

Just a one-mile walk from the center of downtown Asheville in the historic Montford neighborhood, your urban oasis is both in the heart of it all, yet a respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown. (If you visit in spring, summer or fall, you may catch sight of our neighborhood bears!) Walk just up the street in the mornings to grab coffee at All Day Darling, and continue on down Montford Avenue for incredible Caribbean fare at Nine Mile. Stroll down the hill from your private, gated backyard to explore the eclectic River Arts District. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy one of Beer City’s best brews on your private deck!

Downtown can be accessed via Montford Avenue — we’re just a twenty-minute walk away! (Longer for slower amblers, and shorter for power walkers.)

In town to explore the amazing art Asheville has to offer? We’re situated just up the hill from the River Arts District, less than one mile away and accessible via the riverside pedestrian and bike path a short walk away from your private, gated backyard.

Free street parking is available throughout our quiet, dead-end family neighborhood.

Uber, Lyft, and AVL Taxi are all readily available as convenient taxi services.
