Welcome to The Hideaway Vaca South Austin - a grill and swim oasis! We are ideally located 15 mins from downtown, ACL/SXSW/S.Congress/6th/Rainey. 25 mins from COTA/Airport and 30/45 from Hill Country. Enjoy the pool under the expansive oak trees. The backyard also has a large deck with a gas grill/fire pit in the spacious backyard that is perfect for the provided outdoor games.

Detached Game Barn in the backyard has AC/heat, Nintendo Switch preloaded with games and accessories, big screen TV, board games and puzzles to enjoy. Inside you'll find a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and All-clad cookware. Updated master suite has sleep number king bed and a renovated spa bathroom. Home includes Google hi-speed fiber internet, cableTV, wall mounted TVs in all bedrooms.

We’ve planned the details for you to enjoy. Things are easy to find and well setup for your use. Ready for the pool? Enjoy the collection of large beach towels by the door, the outdoor furniture setups, and grill. Relaxing for your vacation is our top priority. We deliver excellent customer service from start to finish and look forward to hosting your family and/or friends get together!

Our family had a wonderful long weekend at this well-equipped house while we celebrated a college graduation! We were met with a warm welcome on the table as we walked in, and the numerous amenities met our every need. All 3 generations of our family highly recommend!

Excellent Spot

This place is just as pictured. I stayed here with my bachelorette party and it slept 9 comfortably. We loved the home, neighborhood, and back yard! Not too far from downtown. The host was very nice and helpful! Would recommend.

Two Week Stay

We rented this property for two weeks while we worked in Texas. The property owner was fabulous and so easy to communicate with! The property itself was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend this location as well as stay here again!

Excellent Choice

Christine was an excellent host. She was responsive and very generous. We arrived to some wonderful goodies. The home is exactly as described. We were on a girls trip with people from high school and the property was perfect for us. Christine’s friend Heather came to change the batteries in the front door lock. She overheard us saying that we needed ice. She went and got it for us. Incredible. I can’t say enough about their hospitality. We will be back.

Our family travels extensively. This is one of our favorite places we have stayed. The home is extremely clean and well taken care of. The host has thought of everything. There is so much to do at the house our family didn't want to leave. The pool is amazing. Check in process was easy and our host was very accommodating. Bed are comfortable. Plenty of room and seating inside and outside for everyone. Our family likes to cook instead of going out. Kitchen is well stocked. You will have everything you need. This home is in a nice neighborhood and close to HEB grocery store. Very nice location. Check out process is a breeze!!!

Great spot for families!

Nice quiet neighborhood near the best that Austin has to offer. The house is comfortable and a great place to rest up for another day exploring Austin. This place has all of the little touches that makes you feel welcome. We were even met with our favorite bottle of whiskey!

Fantastic property!

We loved the house, the location was great, and Christine is an excellent and responsive host. We so appreciated the labels and detailed instructions for how everything works, and the guide to restaurants and activities in Austin. We were sorry that the weather was cold, because the back yard and pool are amazing! The game barn is also a fun extra. We hope to stay there again soon!

Top Notch Stay

The trip to Austin was amazing as was our hostess. Communication before hand was wonderful, left us a nice local gift of little snacks, super clean, TONS to do - pool, game room, fire pit, board games

Family Visit

Incredible Stay

This property was amazing. So well stocked with everything imaginable. Christine goes above and beyond to supply guests with recommendations and is so communicative. Spacious getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the property and were thrilled with the space, cleanliness and updated bathrooms. The pool was a good size and very nice, clean and relaxing. The bonus game den in the back yard was a very cool and fun space that is separate from the main house. If you're looking for a nice, quiet and spacious house to lounge by a pool, grill a dinner and relax, this one does the trick. We would definitely rent again.

Great Property

Our family stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. We rented this house before a family gathering in Central Austin. We found the house well-equipped, clean, and ideal for what we wanted. Host was responsive. Overall this is a good location with easy access to Austin and the Airport. Highly recommended.

A hideaway close enough to downtown ATX

We loved our stay at this property and everything about it. The house hosted our 2 families with teens and adults very comfortably. The backyard is big with lots of seating. The pool is great. The game shed was a great bonus for the kids. We were close enough to downtown to go back and forth and still felt like a nice getaway. The host is outstanding. Very responsive and goes above for her guests.

The no-outlet neighborhood is well located to many popular destinations yet quiet at the same time. The large backyard has numerous ways to enjoy the space with games, the pool, outdoor dining, or the firepit. The neighborhood has numerous nearby restaurants and all the usual delivery options as well. Go out, dine in, or get delivery with ease.

At the Hideaway Vaca - South Austin things are setup for your ideal vacation. There are labels throughout the house on switches and cabinets making an unfamiliar space easy to access. The outdoor lighting systems are automated to transition on at dusk and then again off at the end of the evening. Large pool towels are waiting by the back door as you enter the outdoor oasis. The kitchen is ready to be enjoyed with a full set of cookware, utensils, and all basic spices. I have sweated the details so you can focus on enjoying your time away and creating enjoyable memories with family and friends.

The home has been recently renovated with lots of details like the master spa with heated floors, Bluetooth speaker, 2 person shower, and soaking tub. The large back deck was also recently updated as was the outdoor teak dining furniture. We’ve included detailed guides throughout to help you fully enjoy the space.

The home also includes a unique detached temperature-controlled Game Barn with a Nintendo Switch preloaded with games and accessories, a wall mounted smart TV, Apple TV, puzzles and games organized by age, and a dart board. This is setup for all ages to enjoy for hours of play time.
