Newly Updated Ocean Block Rental

PRIME BEACH-BLOCK LOCATION. This SMALL STUDIO UNIT is at The Hanscom . It will be a very short walk, 3-5 minutes, to the boardwalk and the beach. This nicely decorated unit comfortably sleeps up to three guests.

This rental comes with a queen size bed and single person floor sleeping cushion, if needed for the third individual, and a kitchenette with table for two, basic cookware, dishware, utensils, glasses, mugs and dishes. Furnished with full size refrigerator, stove top, toaster, and coffee maker.

There is plenty of FREE STREET PARKING from 8th Street to 1st Street. Metered and pay parking is available next door. All municipal lots and street parking are free in the off season between October 31 and May 1. Lastly, a coin operated laundry area and vending machines on-premises, a bike rack, and shower stall at the back of the building. Sorry, NO PETS. Please note: Building can only be accessed by card key (will be provided) after 7 PM.

Quick get away

My children and I came for a quick 24 hour get away. We wanted to be close to the boardwalk, and have easy access to amusements.

Not fit for 3 people

I really enjoyed staying at this property! It was clean, quiet, and is close to the beach. In the listing it mentions that 3 people can fit in this room. A very thick cushion is provided for a third person, but that is about it. We were very disappointed to see that there was not a blanket, pillow, or towel to be found for this third person. The room only provides enough towels, blankets, and pillows for 2. This room is great for 2, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again with a total of 3 guests.

Communication

Never went in the property. Communication was poor. Did not receive check in codes until late morning the day we were to arrive. Since it was the day of our arrival and I hadn't received the entry codes I made a reservation at a hotel. I was traveling with two kids and didn't want to risk getting there with out a place to stay. I have stayed at several VRBO residences and never received check in info so late. The confirmation letter he sent stated "as it closer to your vacation a code will be given to you to enter the unit". If he had said you will receive the entry codes on the day of arrival that would have been helpful. Not happy.

Great Location

Property was close to everything I wanted to experience on my short stay. Room was a comfortable size, everything functioned properly. Highly recommend!

people who had nothing better to do

the place was clean. The address given took me to different place but i think it was still part of the building. it took me to where the laundry room is located and one if the front desk employees had to lead me to the front of the actual hotel ( the mansion , i think) to actually take the elevator to my room. This is where the good part stops the host seemed to have collaborated with the other building occupants to re-enact everything wrong that was done to me in Utah when i was using another rental app. The impression that i got was that they had too much time on their hands to be stalking and harassing a person 24/7.
