Passez des vacances reposantes dans un appartement privé très calme sur tout le premier niveau de notre maison personnelle, donnant sur le lac de l'Est. Ce spacieux cottage de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains (la moitié inférieure de notre maison) est niché dans un bosquet de chênes verts, sur une falaise surplombant un joli lac de dunes côtières, à moins de trois kilomètres à l'est de Seaside. Le golfe du Mexique est à une centaine de mètres.

Vous pouvez vous aventurer à la plage en faisant une courte promenade sur la promenade au bout de la rue, ou vous pouvez y pagayer dans le canoë et les kayaks que nous fournissons. Eastern Lake a une entrée qui se jette périodiquement dans le golfe, et il fournit un endroit merveilleux, un peu comme une pataugeoire naturelle, dans lequel les enfants adorent jouer. Deer Lake State Park est à moins de 1 mile à l'est. Toutes les routes panoramiques 30-A ont un vélo pour piétons et un sentier pédestre. WaterSound, Alys Beach et Rosemary Beach sont à environ 6 miles à l'est.

Cette maison est située dans un joli vieux quartier calme de la Floride au sud de 30-A sur le lac de l'Est, avec des restaurants, des magasins, du golf et des locations de vélos à proximité.

We had such a nice, quiet week at Of Days Gone By. We've stayed at several other places along 30A, but this one was unique, with lots of great personal touches, including a great outdoor area. We were there the week after Christmas and enjoyed the holiday decor and lighting that was still up. We loved using the kayaks on Eastern Lake and when the weather was warm enough, I sat on top of the pirate ship to enjoy the view and read a book. We would have loved to stay on through the winter!

I added lots of photos that show parts of this awesome VRBO! This was our second time to stay here and won’t be our last! We really love being on the lake but still just a hundred yards or so to the beach! Owners are very friendly and you never even know they are there!

Lovely cottage with amazing view and use of Eastern Lake with very brief walk to beach access. The beds are comfortable and the roomy kitchen is well equipped. The updated master bath is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location!

Best of both worlds with lakefront property and quick access to the beach! The pirate ship and treehouse were amazing and a hit with the kids. We loved kayaking the lake and canoeing to the beach. Quick walk to an ice cream shop and a great outdoor restaurant too.

This was an excellent trip! We loved everything about the property. It was beautiful, serene, and VERY relaxing. The house was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the lake view from the dock, kayaking back and forth to the beach, and playing board games around the table at night. We would have loved to stay another week! Wonderful for Family with Kids

We absolutely loved our stay, the property is so uniquely decorated and truly keeps the old Florida style alive. We loved the natural feel of the back yard and the preservation of the original landscape. The our 8 year old loved the pirate ship and the whole family enjoyed the kayaks/canoes on the lake and swimming in the lake. it was perfect for post beach relaxing and floating. the interior is very well decorated and the perfect size for a family of 5-7. We will definitely be looking to bring our family back to Days Gone By.

Beautifully Amazing!

This property was beautiful and quiet! We are a family of four and we had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. It had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. This area was quiet, which we loved! It was also an easy walk to the beach but be prepared to cross a thigh high inlet to get there! My son fished off the dock the entire time we were there! Overall, a great family vacation!

Wonderful getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay with Nina and Garret. The house is gorgeous and felt like home. Our kids loved canoeing to the beach and playing on the pirate ship. We rode our bikes everywhere, only a few miles from Seaside.

Awesome beach house

We had a great time at this house! It was since and shaded and offered a beautiful view of the inlet lake. Our boys loved the pirate ship and tree house! It was easy and fun to kayak to the beach. We were walking distance from a great ice cream shop and a couple of awesome restaurants. Thank you Garrett and Nina for a great place to stay!

Stunning location

Lovely unit tucked in among the live oak and overlooking eastern lake with a view of the gulf from the deck. Really a special treat staying on such a beautiful coastal dune lake. We especially enjoyed kayaking under the 30-A bridge to the far shore of the lake. Kayaking to the beach was a fun five-minute jaunt. Stunning location.

Magical Cottage

“Of Days Gone By”, was the perfect place for my husband and I. Everything was just right. Plenty of space inside, and lots of lovely outdoor spaces. A quick bike ride or walk to the gulf. We really enjoyed being on the lake and having the kayak for exploring. Wonderful places to shop and eat close by. I hope we will be back for many years to come.

Great Small Family Stay

This is a great location for the kids to play in the nearby inlet of Eastern Lake. You can literally walk and play in the knee deep water of the inlet or access the beach adjacent to the lake. The room is a comfortable 1 bedroom for the adults and there is a bunk bed in the main living room for the kids. This is a great location if you are looking to have good access to Seaside, Rosemary or the beach areas in between.

A special spot on 30A

Really cool house. Right on Eastern Lake. Perfect location. Close to beach. House was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved the pirate ship (truly an awesome creation!). Hosts were on site but we never felt like our privacy was compromised. The dock on the lake was awesome. And all of the included equipment was a huge bonus. Great kayaks, a canoe and beach gear available to use. This is a really great place to stay.

We are a married couple who have lived here for many decades and have watched Seagrove mature from the early days. Nina is a Realtor and can help you find your own piece of paradise. Garrett is an Author who has written two books highlighting the history of this area. You may find his books " Postcards of Seagrove" and "Postcards: The Second Story" on Amazon and at Sundog Books in Seaside.

The beach area directly south is very spacious and includes the Eastern Lake Inlet, a fabulous place for kids of all ages.
