Great, simple location!

Stayed here for a wedding that was right outside Providence. We had a great time here. The host was quick to respond when I noticed there was no dishwasher detergent and quick to get us some as well which was much appreciated. The property is right on the water which was pretty cool to see as well. The only thing that I would say is that there was no hot tub as listed, but that seems to have been an accident on the listing. Would recommend to anyone!

Good house in a quiet neighborhood.

Sleeping accommodations, towels, linens, and kitchen were fine for our needs. Some minor improvements could be made: Better directions on how to open door-there is a push system that the host had to describe to me to open door. Can't imagine trying to open in the dark with just instructions that came with house. Also, could use more kitchen towels and some scissors. Tub jacuzzi tough to get in and out of. You need a pin for TV to download favorite apps-none was provided. Neighborhood was easy to walk in. With these improvements I believe it would merit a5 star.

Great Lake Property

My wife and I stayed here for the second time with our dog. We had another great visit. We love the property and being on the lake. We took day trips to Providence and Boston this time. We look forward to staying here again!

Family Visit

Property was clean, in a good location, nice lake view, loved seeing the swans. Close walk to the beach. Kitchen was nicely stocked and washer and dryer worked well, with soap being provided, that was nice. Concerns start with the difficulty of opening the front door, bad smell that seemed to be coming from the kitchen sink, needed to have a candle lit the whole time. The listing states hot tub, there wasn't one outside like we expected. There is a jetted bathtub but couldn't get the jets to work and it was very difficult to try and get the bathtub stopper to work. Overall, adequate for our needs but probably wouldn't stay again.

Not as advertised - too many safety issues.

The location was perfect for what I came to RI for. However, there were multiple issues. Ripped or missing screens on windows & slider. Could not walk out slider due to no step. Tub was a challenge - no grab bar. Had to purchase tub mat to safely get in & out of shower. No knobs or handles on bathroom vanity. Only left out 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. Had to hunt for more in bin next to washer/dryer. The garage building is a fire/safety hazard. Sewage smell inside house. Septic needs to be checked. The driveway has huge holes when pulling in. We have stayed at multiple VRBO. This was our worst experience. The pictures were very nice but did not represent the property as it actually is.

Great Extended Weekend on the Lake

My wife and I spent a long weekend here with our dog. We had a great time. The house is clean and comfortable and in a great location. We took day trips to Newport and Providence. The view of the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night. We hope to stay here again. Thank you.

Lake view

I can honestly say our stay at this lake house was beautiful. I only had a day to find a comfortable, clean and quaint place to stay for five days that would be suitable for the three of us and I believe this house was waiting just for us. We were there for the 4th of July week, fireworks were amazing over the lake. The neighbors were very friendly as well.
