Great location for a reasonable price!

My group and I were all very happy with our stay here. A short Uber to downtown, a quiet neighborhood, and the house was clean and everything we needed it to be. Highly recommend this property and owner.

Great rental and location!

The house was nice and location was close to most things we wanted to do. The worst part is the parking as it is all street parking and there was barely room for the two vehicles we had but we made it work. The host was quick to respond to any communication we had.

Nice Updated Space, Easy Downtown Access

The house was clean and looks nicely updated. Eric communicated for everything we needed and answered questions we had. The property itself could use some TLC, but the ease of access to 65 for getting downtown or where we needed to go was a big highlight.

Terrible

I booked the property in September. When I showed up with my wife and two other couples the owner revealed it was double booked. We had to book three hotel rooms last minute that cost us much more money. VRBO only refunded the original amount. After over three hours on the phone with the majority of the time on hold. Owner did not accept responsibility for their issue with double booking through another site.

Nice property if needing an affordable place to stay with easy access to interstate.

Nice properly with easy access to interstate. Would like to see more supplies in the Kitchen. There was not any detergent for the dishwasher or any other cleaners to wipe down tables and countertops. The master bed did not have much support it looked like there were only 3 mattress toppers stacked up. Would also have been nice if there where some furniture to sit out on the deck. Overall nice place to stay.

Louisville lights

Location was close to Louisville lights in the cave. I was about 30 min away and had no check in procedure/codes. This was about 30 mins after check in time. Called the owner and he had no record of my booking. He said the property was already booked to someone else. I told him I booked it through VRBO. It showed that I was booked after all. Luckily the owner did have another property available, so we had somewhere to stay. Just verify before you go that you are booked even if you have a confirmation number.

Mommy get away

Check in went okay, VRBO did not communicate with host about our stay and we did not get checkin instructions. Host was easy to get ahold of, super friendly and remedy the process. House was clean and simple. Backyard however was over ran wit Jurassic wasp on steroids and the cleaning lady came in an hour early compared to our check out time and rushed us our. Other than those minor details everything else went decent

Inadequate

Overall, the property itself was fine. We reported a problem with one of the toilets after our first night and had to go without for over a day. Only 1 out of the 7 beds had top sheets; we didn't have enough bathtowels; and none of the showers had a bath mat and the tile floors were very slick. The handrail going upstairs was very loose and needs repair. No cleaning supplies or 1 extra trash bag.

Needs Some Work

Had to call for check-in instructions when we were 30 minutes out after messaging owner a few times prior that I still hadn't received them. He did apologize profusely and sent them right away. When we showed up after 4 the cleaner was still there. She asked that I get the towels out of the dryer when we got back and distribute to the bathrooms. I wanted to love the property as Eric was very nice when I got him on the phone but I just didn't. We stay at a VRBO several times a year for my granddaughter's dance competition and I'm sorry to say this was the first bad experience we have had.I tried to leave a longer review but ran out of space so here's a summary of what I felt needed addressing: Steep front steps to property. Much better off if you park on side street and come up the side or back. That's where the keypad is anyway; WiFi didn't work; Flight Path for Louisville airport; No top sheets for any of the beds, just comforter; NO TOWEL RODS in any of the bathrooms; No kitchen towels; Banister going to 2nd floor NEEDS REPAIR. Extreme safety hazard; 2nd floor is on separate A/C and took a long time to be a comfortable temperature. Why the cleaner didn't turn it on since they were there I don't understand; Couldn't get ice maker to work; Dishwasher was not securely fastened and felt like it was going to pull out everytime we opened it.Again, this could be a really nice place to stay if some things were addressed.
