Are you looking for the perfect low-key getaway in your RV or camper? A place to stay while bird watching, fishing, or duck hunting?
This is the affordable, clean, private, low traffic, close to everything, coolest little place around!
It is a private short-term RV space available for you and your camper. There are no bathroom/ shower or laundry facilities on the property, but full hookups are available for your camper.
The space
There are two well-maintained gravel RV sites with a beautiful view of St. Charles Bay! They are located on 8th Street in Lamar, Texas on our home place. Less than a mile from the public boat ramp. Bring your boat! Minutes from Goose Island State Park, The Big Tree, Rockport Beach, and many other area attractions. Each site has 20, 30, and 50 amp service, water, sewer, and Wifi, and a lounging area with a picnic table and a beautiful view of St. Charles Bay.
Guest access
Your site will be clearly identified so you can pull in at any time. Hook up and enjoy the view. Youâll have access to your site and the grounds, with fire pits, bbq grills, and picnic areas around the 1.7 acre property. The RV sites are on the front of the property with unobstructed views of the bay. Come and go as you please.

Come in, hook up, hang out, relax and enjoy the place. Weâre here and we love answering questions and helping with recommendations if you are unfamiliar with the area or just want some local knowledge to make sure you donât miss anything like the belt sander races or who offers incredible birding photography tours (hint: it's our neighbors).

I moved to Rockport with my husband from the Texas Hill Country in January of 2023. We love living on the coast with daily opportunities to enjoy fishing or boating or watching the great diversity of birds and other wildlife in the area. The sunrises and sunsets, the peaceful pasture around our property, and the warm summer breezes are amazing.

It was love at first sight when we drove into our neighborhood! Our property is across the bridge from Rockport in the community of Lamar. We are 10 minutes from everything needed, but away from all the traffic and noise. You really can't beat our location, just a 5-minute walk from St. Charles Bay where cows graze with a waterfront view.

We love our unobstructed water views, pasture land all around, oak trees and palm trees sharing space and providing beautiful sea breeze sounds. Sightings of Whooping Cranes and other coastal birds all day long will tempt any avid bird watcher or nature photographer.
