Excellent Stay!

There are few rentals that I've loved as much as this. My wife and I travel often, and the stay is usually her favorite part. Simply put, this place felt like home. The house itself is decorated well, highlighting the beautifully restored craftsman charm. Comfortable beds, deep-lounging couch, and an excellent kitchen. During our long stay we had some nearby friends visit for a weekend along with their 1-year old. Baby had no issues crawling around the house, as it seemed to be furnished with little ones in mind.The entire property feels rather private with the abundance of black out shades, and full hedge around the perimeter. When you're in the backyard or the hot tub, it feels like a private piece of Santa Barbara. And lastly, it is located so close to downtown that it's usually easier to walk than to fight for parking.

My favorite place in SB

The 2br home was perfect for two couples. I beautifully renovated old home. Bathrooms were fashionable and functional. Great shower. Great kitchen. Like staying in and old charming farm house but walking distance to State Street restaurants and West Beach. With bikes never need a car. And the backyard was great for entertaining. We BBQ'd for a few friends in a secluded backyard after taking a hot tub under the palm trees. I can't say enough about what a nicely kept and situated home this is. The host was super friendly and easy to communicate with. You can tell she has put a lot of love into the home. Her craftsmanship of this place is superb. Yes, close to freeway, but it's never an issue. Surprisingly. Dream home in dream town.

Perfect Santa Barbara rental home!

We really enjoyed our recent 3-month stay at this BEAUTIFUL, totally renovated Craftsman home. This place deserves a thorough review! It’s obvious that the Owner’s recent renovation was very detailed and executed with true quality and comfort in mind. I love that she preserved and enhanced the original details of the home, but modernized it in a stunning, organic style. The natural wood floors and the doors, windows, and casings appear to be original (but obviously refinished/refined), and they add so much character to the light and bright space.She brought the home into this era with gorgeous tile bathrooms and fixtures, and high-quality rugs, furniture, and bedding (the beds and high-quality linens were a dream to sleep in). The kitchen is so fun to cook in, with everything you can possibly need, and all the appliances and designer touches are just gorgeous.The location is also great. Just a short walk from the home (4 blocks, I think?), takes you right downtown. We loved walking toward State Street in the morning to get coffee at the cute Lighthouse Coffee shop, and there’s also a fun pizza place and fish taco place along the walk, as well. The beach/ocean/harbor is also just about 1-mile away. Yes, this home is close to the freeway, but the home is so well-built, we hardly noticed the freeway noise, and the area feels safe/neighborly. The backyard is adorable (with plumerias and an amazing hot tub!!), and she even offers outdoor games. We highly recommend this home!
