My wife and I spent a week in this upstairs apartment and it was ideal for our visit. The best thing about it was the location - within walking distance of lots of good restaurants, shops and the harbor. There was also easy access by car to all of the area attractions and the nearby wine country. We appreciated having off-street parking behind the home.In addition to the wonderful location, we found the apartment to be very comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed with cooking utensils and dinnerware. We ate out most of the time but typically cooked breakfast in the apartment. The only things we found lacking were some basic items for cooking like salt and pepper. The fry pans are also in need of an upgrade, as the "nonstick" on them has come and gone. Otherwise, we found everything to be in working condition and adequate. There are a few things on the listing description that could be a little more accurate. For example, there is no Ocean View. The house across the street blocks it. There is a fireplace, but it looked to be disconnected from gas and not usable. There are two TV's in the house but both are quite small. There is a DVD player, but we couldn't find the mentioned video library. The listing said there were bicycles and helmets available, but we didn't see them. None of these things detracted from our stay but the listing should probably be updated. All in all, this was a great rental and we would certainly look to stay here again on a future visit.
