It has immediate access to Van Andel, DeVos, Medical Mile, GVSU, John Ball Zoo, and dozens of restaurants and bars. This welcoming space is completely remodeled featuring stylish decor with a cozy, home away from home feel. It has a fully loaded kitchen with a coffee station, on-site laundry, fast Wi-Fi, Hulu, and free street parking.

The apartment is in a residential area, just blocks from all the exciting treasures that downtown Grand Rapids has to offer... museums, festivals, fireworks, sporting events (and its Beer City designation) have brought in visitors from around the world.

Great location and room. Walking distance to food and coffee. Close to downtown. The only minor issue for us as 65 adults was the stairs were narrow, the old fashioned bathtub shower was a little tricky for us, and the weekend nights were a little loud due the the proximity to university.

Nice apartment in great location. Stairs are steep but manageable - I'm an overpacker and had a bit of an issue getting the big suitcase up there! Next time smaller luggage for sure!

Sweet Retreat

Great place and responsive host!

This was a great place to stay especially if you’re looking to explore downtown and green spaces along the river. Just a short 10-15 min walk to downtown and easy access to public transportation. The host was also super responsive and flexible with the needs I had. I would definitely stay again!

Just Right

The place was just as advertised. Very nice location for Grand Rapids and the place was very clean. Stephanie was responsive and made everything super simple. If we make it back to Grand Rapids we will definitely be staying here again!

Clean and Great Location

Place is very clean, nicely decorated, and close to downtown GR. An updated second floor unit in an older multi family house. Host is quick to respond to inquiries. No issues with parking on the street. Neighborhood is somewhat active day and night, but reasonably quiet.

Lovely Apartment

I have now stayed here twice, it’s very lovely. Bare bones but it has the necessities. The property manager could not be more accommodating. She even added a night on for me when I unexpectedly needed to come to town early. Would definitely stay here or any of her other units.

Good for short stay but not longer

We stayed 5 nights. The location was great. We could walk to some restaurants and coffee shops. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was great, and there were other nice amenities. The living room furniture is cheaply made and very uncomfortable if you plan to use that part of the apartment. The owner uses cleaning products or sprays that are cloyingly floral and never faded in the five days we were there. It made me very unhappy but I did not get a headache from it.If the furniture was upgraded and the cleaning products changed, I would rent this place again.

Excellent location!

I was very happy with our stay at this property! A perfect location. Spouse and I were easily able to walk to downtown Grand Rapids to enjoy the sights. We even walked to John Ball Zoo. Room was clean and comfortable. My only real complaint was that there was not a toaster in the kitchen, but we were able to improvise easily with the oven. Host was responsive, detailed, and super polite; check in and checkout were very easy! Not a complaint at all, but something to note - this property is not for you if you have any mobility issues. There is a steep staircase leading up to the unit and the shower has a very high step-in/step-out situation that requires balance and care. Overall, extremely happy with our stay!

SENIORS NEED HELP

My wife & I are seniors with 2 small dogs so we weren't expecting to walk up & down a narrow stairway to get to our room on the second floor especially with two dogs to take in & out. the other issue is the so call shower is a claw foot tub with shower curtains inside the tub to keep the water in. The curtain was stained & felt enclosed while using it. If we had pics of either of these issues then we would of booked elsewhere. It's hard for us to lift our leg to get inside of it. Other than that the place was clean & comfortable.
