We truly loved this house. The rooms and common areas were great for several families coming together. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and the outdoor patio area. We hope to return in the future!

This beautiful, spacious home was more than it appeared online! Everyone in our group of 6 had comfortable and private sleeping quarters. The kitchen and family rooms were perfect for cooking, eating and lounging together. And we loved the decor and artwork. Always found something new to look at! Perfect location, close to the beach and all the cool restaurants and shops. Easy and simple check-out.

Great place to stay! We traveled with four couples for a Pickleball tournament and this property provided everything we needed. Plenty of seating in the dining and living room areas to accommodate all of us comfortably. The property was very clean and comfy. Location was great with a short walk to the beach, a quick ride to downtown. Would definitely come back to this property if in the area again.

We stayed here for a work trip. It’s a great house with plenty of room. The kitchen is even more spacious than it looks in the pictures. It was very clean and comfy. The outdoor area is also nice. It is about a 5 minute walk from the beach and about 10 minute walk from restaurants. I highly recommend staying at this house.

We loved everything about this property: from the outdoor entry with plenty of seating to the expansive indoor areas with so many personal touches that made it feel like home. There was more than enough space for our group and we loved being able to spread out. The kitchen was awesome, the couches were so comfy, and the dining table was impressively huge! Such a great location and just a short stroll to the beach.

The HVAC system works well though be aware that their is are two systems each individually controlled. The TVs and internet are great and work well. The place is broom swept clean. If you are ok with a relaxed beach place...this is perfect. If you up for a an impeccably clean place, then perhaps this is not for you.Cockroaches... we killed 1 each on four consecutive nights. If you like to eat out and just use the place for breakfast and a sandwich at lunch, it will work, but if you like to cook meals then it is more challenging.

Living on an island means contending with various aspects of local wildlife, including these occasional visitors., Palmetto bugs are outdoor insects that can sometimes find their way into buildings, especially in humid climates like those found on islands and their presence is not necessarily indicative of poor sanitation. Nevertheless, we do understand that this may not be ideal for everyone, and we take proactive measures to minimize their impact as much as possible through regular pest control services. We're glad to hear that you found our HVAC system, TVs, and internet to your satisfaction. We've taken note of your feedback regarding the kitchen facilities and will explore ways to enhance the cooking amenities for guests who prefer to prepare their meals during their stay. Perfect Beach Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With a great location a short walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the pier, this property was a great fit for our family of 8. The beach entry is so easy and close, and wagons are easy from there too. We went back and forth multiple times a day and walked miles on the beach with lots of room. Bedrooms are on both floors, with plenty of room for spreading out. The description matched our expectations, with a fully-equipped and updated kitchen in which we cooked tasty local seafood. It was very clean with really comfortable living space and new beds, easy to park and enough hot water. The owners responded so quickly with any questions. Sitting on the porch is quiet morning and night. We walked, ran and biked all through the neighborhood, and to shopping, yoga, pickleball, tennis and restaurants. We loved music bingo night, going to the pier and watching the sunset from different spots. We played golf on the island and at Jekyll. The library close by has a story time for little ones and a playground and public pool (in summer) across the street. We will definitely come again and recommend it for sure!

Great stay - but could have been better

Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the house 6/14 - 6/21/25.There were a lot of positives about the house (clean, space for the family to gather both indoors and out)and overall my family of 8 adults enjoyed the stay. However, there are a few things that I want to note so that others will know what to expect. The biggest of all is that the 3rd bathroom, with the large tub centered in it, does not really function as a full bath since there is no way to take a shower in it. I had assumed that it was big enough to use the showerhead without making a mess of the bathroom, however that was not the case - so 8 of us shared 2 showers.As other have commented, the kitchen wear leaves a lot to be desired. There were 3 glass wine glasses (no two the same) and maybe 4 plastics ones that had been through the wash so many times they were cracked and cloudy. All of the drinking "glasses" were plastic, cracked and cloudy. There were ~3 mismatched, standard size coffee cups and then 6-8 apparently hand made (not necessarily by a professional) tiny coffee mugs. We had to use plastic glasses because the Keurig would overflow most of the "coffee mugs". All of the plates were plastics and in much better shape than the "glasses" but still plastic and not microwavable. There was also a strong and persistent sewer gas smell that seemed to come out of the fireplace in the downstairs master bedroom. It definitely got stronger when everybody was just getting going in the morning or returning from the beach and using the facilities. It would then fade until the next rush.I let the rental company know of all these concerns before we left. They said they would address them ASAP. I am hoping that they did! I did not raise them during the stay because we did not really want workers in the house while we were there. I have to say that a $100 - $200 spent on better quality, matching dish wear would go along way to making the house feel less like ruffing it and more like home.
