The Whiskey House was a beautiful home. . Very impressed how clean it was. The kitchen had everything you need including supplies and coffee which we had forgotten. The bedding was very comfortable with nice clean fresh sheets. The grandkids love the huge pool and all the fun activities that are available. I have to mention the nice host that was very informative and was available anytime. We would love to stay here again.

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in a while. The house was beyond our expectations from the amenities to the location. John and his wife at Cobia Coast are awesome and made our stay enjoyable

Absolutely one of the best we have ever stayed at! Great location to the beach, walk in 3 min. 45Min drive from airport. There is a grocery store less than 10 min away with great options, fresh seafood if you cook etc. The house was amazing, rooms for everyone. The pool/backyard area was the Best we have had. The owners were great at texting reminders of trash day etc. They were also so nice and answered if we needed them, which was only once since the house was great. Kitchen and pool are huge, pictures are accurate!

The house was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Had a problem with the elevator and pool. We called and it was fixed that day. Great service!

Family retreat at Whiskey Beach

This has thus far been our best luxury beach house vacation rental experience, and we typically do between 1-2 such trips per year for the last 5 years. The best parts of this experience were the responsiveness of the host and the amenities of the property, especially the hot tub and heated pool. However, what is as important as any amenity is the functionality, cleanliness, and troubleshooting capacity for that amenity; all of which were top notch for this property. The only thing that would've made this luxury home completely unbeatable would be making it beachfront, however the beach is in viewing distance and walkable within 1 minute. Highly recommend.

Wow! Just wow!

Just an impressive place from top to bottom. Our every other year family vacation surpassed everyone's expectations with this one. Bedroom suites were perfect for everyone. Kitchen accommodations for the full family breakfast and lunches were on point. Grill and entertainment downstairs for relaxing was like being at a separate resort. The putting green even afforded the kids a mini tournament while the adults enjoyed to pool and swim up table. And yea, one block from the private beach. This one will be tough to beat. Enjoy!!

Overall, an excellent experience!With 8 ensuite bedrooms with comfortable beds (plus a bunk room for 4) and an elevator, this house is great for large groups with young children and older people. We had an age spread from 18 months to 96! Even with a group of 23, it never felt crowded. The backyard pool area is as great as it looks in the pictures and is a wonderful hang out with a covered porch area. No need to pay to heat the pool for a June stay. And, the house has a great location for a short walk to the beautiful beach. With a sub-zero fridge and a sub-zero freezer, there is plenty of refrigeration space for a large group. And, the double ovens, two dishwashers, and ice maker (on the 1st level) are nice amenities! Plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, etc. Pack extra dish towels; however, as only 2 were provided for the week. Also, if you have a large group and plan to cook many of your meals, as it was equipped during our stay, the kitchen does not have any large oven-ware items.The house is equipped with just 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas and a few sand toys. We brought more - you can rent more but it can be expensive to do so. Four adult bikes and all supplies are provided for the backyard amenities. Just 12 beach towels are provided. Communication with the host via text was very fast and responsive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at the Whiskey Beach House. We LOVED the pool! There was actually more sleeping space than what we thought there would be. Could have used more dish towels in the kitchen. Otherwise, the kitchen was very well stocked. Great time! Hated to have to leave and go back home. Would highly recommend this house for a vacation.
