Shady Pecan Grove on 12 Acres & 5 miles from Fredericksburg!

Located just 5 miles from downtown Fredericksburg, Shady Grove is a unique home nestled on a 12 acre pecan orchard. Features a 1000 square foot covered porch that has a full size kitchen. The porch has a picnic table and an additional retro metal lawn table that seats 6. The Firepit is ready for chilly nights.

This 3-story house offers views of the orchard from 2nd floor porch. The outdoor kitchen on the ground level is equipped not only with a grill, but a gas stove, oven and sink. You may find that you don't even want to go into town!

Tucked away behind a small thicket and surrounded by a sea of green grass, Shady Grove is hidden from the road and neighboring homes. Follow the curve of the country road, to a dirt driveway.(Loma Lane) Turn left 100 yards into the dirt road at the TURQUOISE Mail Box & wine barrel. This 1900 square foot house is 3 stories tall and each floor has a full bathroom and bedrooms with queen-sized beds.

Sneak away to the third floor for some solitude, mingle in kitchen and dining room on the second floor. Gaze over the pecan grove from the back porch upstairs or enjoy the shade and picnic tables by the outdoor kitchen on the ground floor. In the evening sit a spell and enjoy watching the deer families frolic under the trees. You pick your favorite nook!


We are fortunate to be able to share our working Pecan Orchard with you, but please be mindful that we are also sharing our grove with Texas wildlife. Along with the armadillos, jackrabbits and roadrunners… we also have seen snakes, fire ants and other stinging insects. We remind you that children must be supervised since we have farm equipment stored throughout the orchard.
