About this space
Enjoy the pleasures of hunter mountain, from an ABNB SUPERHOST accessible via a short walk or 2 minute drive. Winter time Ski season as well as year round hiking and serenity of the mountain. A berth of restaurants and unique shops / bar, Fully indoor 11X24’ HEATED Pool & Sauna/Game room, as well as grilling and enjoying the warm fireplace with family and friends! 8 bedrooms awaits you with one den for the kids to play which converts to a bedroom with a daybed! Separate access is available for a walkthrough bedroom as well.
The space
Beautiful log Cabin style, with PRIVATE HEATED INDOOR POOLHOUSE + SAUNA, fully functional propane fireplace and newly renovated bedrooms with 3.5 bathrooms! Two TVs, Den for kids to hang during the day and Mudroom / game room equipped with an air hockey table, as well as foosball table!
Guest access
3 separate entrances to the house, turn right on Bridge street off of main street to get to division street.

We just returned from a wonderful holiday family ski trip. The house accommodated 15 of us comfortably. 7 bedrooms to fit a large group of adults and kids. We enjoyed family time and watching tv in front of the fireplace. We had just enough room to eat cooked family meals and we played many of the board games the host had left for visitors. After skiing and tubing every day, we made good use of the immaculately clean indoor pool and sauna.Another great part of this house is the location. It is minutes to Hunter Mountain.The Host was always available to address all of our questions.Thanks we had a great time!

Family holiday ski trip

This house had enough space for all 16 of us, with a wonderful pool house and sauna that kept the 9 teens entertained and having fun together swimming and playing games. We were located so close to the mountain that two even walked home from the ski mountain one day. We all enjoyed walking into town. Plenty of parking for our 7 cars. We had a terrific ski vacation and only wished for better snow!!!

Great spot, close to swimming hole and excellent location

We all went up on a dad’s weekend with our kids and thoroughly enjoyed the house. 6 dads each with their own kid were able to sleep in the house (lots of pack-n-plays). Huge plusses: fire pit, BBQ, Swing Set, Indoor heated pool, comfortable beds, proximity to town and an awesome swimming hole in river. Highly recommended for big groups. Fair host with lots of communication and always reachable.

Perfect retreat for large groups

Our group of 14 had an exceptional stay at this beautiful property. The house is incredibly spacious, offering more than enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The swimming pool was impeccably clean and provided hours of fun for both adults and kids alike. The sauna was a great addition for those looking to unwind after a day of activities. Indoors, there was no shortage of entertainment – the selection of games kept us all engaged and made our stay even more enjoyable. The house itself was spotless, and we truly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and detail throughout the property. The location is serene and peaceful, providing the perfect environment for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this property for large groups or families looking for a tranquil, well-maintained, and entertaining retreat. We will definitely be returning!

Family of 12 visit in June 2024

Did not read the house description thoroughly and assumed there was air conditioning. There were three different heating systems but no AC. It is a winter rental property. Thank goodness the weather was fine but many windows had no screens so air circulation was limited. In the living room the furniture was not the comfy, sit and relax kind. We also did not check the listing for a washer and dryer which was a mistake on our part. We went on a river cruise, visited Hyde Park, had lunch at the C.I.A., went to a minor league baseball game, visited Cooperstown so the house is situated well but it has its quirks.

We install our ACs July 1st as we are a mountain home and in June the temperature drops to the 50s at night, we have ceiling fans in almost every room as well; also we have a brand new washer and dryer in the basement unfortunately Diane never inquired about either of them.
