Perfect getaway for friends, couples or families. Bay front property! Great for fishing and bird watching. Enjoy sleeping on luxurious bedding. Wake up in the morning to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Enjoy our complimentary coffee on the deck overlooking the Laguna Madre Bay. Our backyard is considered protected wetlands, there are many different types of coastal birds and wildlife to discover. Walk along the pier to a private dock for great fishing. Drive 15 minutes over the JFK Causeway bridge to North Padre Island. There you can find souvenir shops, restaurants, and lots of beach access. You can also head the other direction toward the city of Corpus Christi for tons of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. A trip to the Texas State Aquarium downtown is a must! After your fun, adventure-filled day, come back to the luxury cottage to enjoy cooking dinner in our full kitchen and drinks on the patio as the sun sets on the bay.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. It was clean, very organized and well maintained. Although it was extremely windy and stormy two of the days we were there, we enjoyed the fishing at night. We caught a variety of fish, including large catfish, black drum, croaker, trout and even a couple of stingrays. We had a relaxing vacation.

The bright side of our trip

Unfortunate timing that we got to Corpus Cristi the same time that a tropical storm did. The storm ruined most of our plans but atleast we had a great place to stay in! It is very nice and clean. The owner made excellent use of the space in the house so we had everything we would need. The back porch and private pier are the prefect place to relax and take in the scenery. We are planning on coming back ASAP. We just hope the weather will cooperate next time!

THE PERFECT GETAWAY!

We recently stayed at the Cottage and let me tell you, it was absolute perfection. The bright and beautiful atmosphere instantly makes you feel relaxed, peaceful, and cozy. The host truly thought of everything as every nook and cranny of the cottage is carefully arranged and organized for the best possible experience for the guest. For example, I forgot my toothbrush but to my delight, the host offers nice disposable toothbrushes in the bathroom. We also forgot to pack extra beach towels and found them neatly folded and labeled in the cabinet. A delight! Our two small children were also on this trip and not only does the host provide a pack-n-play (Praise!) but she had toys and books that my kids absolutely loved! Another huge win if you’re traveling with munchkins. When we weren’t at the beach (a quick 15 min drive) we were enjoying the awesome pier watching skipjacks jump out of the water and watching fireworks on the other side of the bay. As a waterfront property, we loved being able to wake up and walk onto the balcony to bask in the beautiful sunrise over the water. Truly magical. I think it’s safe to say that we will be repeat guests for many years to come as we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cottage on the Bay! Thank you for everything!

100% empfehlenswert !!

Sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft, die keine WĂŒnsche offen lĂ€sst (lediglich etwas mehr Besteck wĂ€re vorteilhaft). Wir empfehlen das Haus zu 100% und wĂŒrden es jederzeit wieder buchen.
