This memorable apartment is the perfect home base for your trip to Firenze. Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming property offers a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for guests. The bedroom (with a double bed) is located on the loft. The living space, with the kitchen and the table, offers the space for sitting (4 people), relaxing, working, watching TV, cooking and enjoying your stay in Florence.

The window and the terrace overlook a large internal space with a garden and other small terraces, the tip of the facade of the Santa Croce church is visible.

The flat is quiet with no overlooks to the street, while being in the middle of the historic heart of Florence, in one the most visited areas in the world .
The sofa bed can accommodate an additional person for a modest extra charge.

This place is centrally located to many great things. It's on the very top floor so it's a bit of a hike with your luggage, but it's worth it. Host had everything you need to enjoy a stay including a good listing of recommended food and activity options. The place is tight, but everything in Italy is small so it felt normal. We had a fantastic stay, would absolutely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Antonella’s apartment. It was a beautiful, authentic, cozy apartment that made us feel like we had a home away from home. The location was perfect to explore the city of Florence. We enjoyed everything about the apartment including the excellent AC that kept us cool during the summer heat!

Great Location and Comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was close to everything and we could walk everywhere. Strong AC and WiFi. It is on the third floor which I knew but bringing our heavy suitcases up was a workout. Would definitely recommend this great apartment. So quiet!

Great little Apt with great location.

We really enjoyed our stay at this top floor apartment. It had everything we needed, very quaint and comfortable. Theres a really nice restaurant right out the front door, make a left and you're standing in a beautiful Piazza with a spectacular cathedral. So many great vendors right there and very close to all the main sites! 5 stars rating!

A lot of stairs to climb with luggage, but after that, no problem. The interior stairway needed attention to navigate. The shower was tiny, and probably impossible for anyone with girth. Also, no soap or shampoo provided, which i hadn't come across before. Otherwise quit nice.

Great apartment in Sante Croce

What a cute apartment to stay in , just off the Sante Croce Piazza but very quiet . Had everything we needed and the balcony was lovely to sit on in the mornings and after a hard day sightseeing! Just be aware that there isn’t a lot of space around the bed and the stairs are quite steep so not ideal if you aren’t very fit and able . We loved it there and would recommend . Antonella and Francesco were very accommodating too

The best location in town

This apartment was so cute despite the 53 stairs we had to climb to get there. Air conditioning worked great bed was comfortable showerhead lots of room and good pressure. The balcony was so super cute. We loved having coffee out there and listening to the sounds of the city. This really was the cutest little apartment and was and about the very best place you could be in the city. An absolutely delicious restaurant literally across the street including bars within 20 yards and within one block of two different wine windows !! Definitely located right on Santa croce close to at least five restaurants and bars —Quick three minute walk to the Santa Maria novella. Absolutely loved everything about this place.!

Truly Florence!

We wanted to enjoy Florence so we chose Antonella’s place, and we were not disappointed. Incredible location and exactly as mentioned. If you cannot climb stairs, then this is not for you. We are able and it was just what we expected - small, comfortable, quiet, typical of an old Italian city. We loved it. Check in was very easy and responses from the host were immediate. But the location made it so perfect. Thank you Antonella and Francesco. It made our honeymoon a beautiful memory. We will be back.

An Honest ReviewMy wife and I stayed for two nights. We appreciated the detailed check-in instructions and found the location very convenient for exploring the city. However, there are several issues future guests should be aware of.The apartment is located on the third floor, accessible only by climbing 53 steep stairs. If you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, this may prove challenging. Unfortunately, the condition of the apartment itself was disappointing. The furniture is worn and in need of replacement. The floors did not appear to have been cleaned recently. When turning down the bed, we found hairs on the sheets and what looked like blood stains on one of the pillowcases, please see the pictures. The terrace—while potentially enjoyable—was surrounded in pigeon droppings, see picture, which made it difficult to use.Overall, we expected much better for the price paid and the additional cleaning fee, in cash, which did not seem justified given the condition of the apartment.

Great Florence property near Piazza Santa Croce!

Overall we LOVED this property! It was located right on Santa Croce plaza, in a quiet street shared by a fantastic restaurant (Cafe Toscano). Yes, you will definitely get your steps in going up/down to this great upper floor apartment, but we didn't mind and really loved the design of the place. Great AC to fight the mid-90's temps, great for mid-day breaks as it's only a few blocks walking distance to great monuments like Uffizi Museum, Piazza del Duomo (Dome, Cathedral, Baptistry, and Giotto's Bell Tower), and Ponte Vecchio (Oltrarno). Bed was big and comfy, enjoyed the separate living area and kitchen as well. Terrace was cool, but didn't really afford a fantastic view unfortunately and is quite small. In the heat, you won't be sitting out there anyway! Great support and communication from the manager Francesco, checking in was easy and they even allowed us early access which helped with the heat. Great property, would highly recommend it, will stay here again if we return to Florence.

Quiet, Cozy, Well-Equipped Apartment

This is a lovely apartment. It was very quiet, and I slept well. The apartment has everything you need, as listed in the amenities. There are many stairs to climb, about 53, but I knew that going in. The loft has ample closet storage. Francesco was available and prompt in returning my messages. The location was excellent. It is about a minute's walk to the Piazza Santa Croce, has many restaurants and shops, and is an easy walk to the Duomo and the main train terminal, Santa Maria Novella. The building was secure, and I felt safe. Have the lasagna in the restaurant across from the building. It was amazing.

Amazing Little Apartment in Incredible Location

We were reluctant to Book this unit on VRBO due to the lack of reviews. We should not have worried. Unit was exactly as pictured. Small, but definitely enough for two people. Located right in the heart of the old town, we walked to everything in minutes. There is a piazza 30 seconds away, and restaurants everywhere. The little veranda was a really nice feature. The loft for the sleeping area was really cool. Unit was clean, stocked with all required necessities, and communication with the owner and manager was great. The restaurant recommended in the welcome binder was our favorite meal in Italy. The only potential negative was the location on the third floor. Anyone with difficulty doing stairs (especially carrying luggage) would have a problem. But to be fair, most units in historic districts have the same issue. Absolutely top-notch rental.

Nous avons particuliÚrement apprécié la situation géographique de l'appartement. Il est situé dans un quartier trÚs vivant proche des lieux à visiter et des commerces et restaurants. L'appartement est calme, spacieux et lumineux.Mais attention, à la fin du séjour, il faut ajouter et régler 40 de ménage obligatoire et 6 par jour et par personne pour les taxes de séjour.
