This house was a fun renovation project for my husband and I.
We wanted to provide a space that stands out and provided a comfortable and creative space for visitors.

We are 1.2 miles from the Gonda Building of the Mayo Clinic and located on the bike and bus routes.

There are no stairs to enter the home. The main floor of the home has a living room, full kitchen, full bath with step in shower and a king bedroom.
The second floor has a queen bed with en suite bathroom with bathtub. There is also a sunny workspace on the second floor.

No step entry had a 10 inch step up to an uneven floor. Pet friendly cover up smell greeted you when you opened the door. Area rugs in front room & bedroom were dirty. Furnace blew cold air constantly. Host tried to say we had air on. Looked spacious in ad but was tiny and cramped.

Charming and cozy

Color house is charming and cozy! It has all the amenities we needed. Check in and communication was quick and easy. Becca was very responsive to all requests. Location is very convenient to Mayo, just a quick 7 min drive.

We loved our stay

This house is beautifully put together, beautiful artwork, everything we needed in the kitchen and the king size bed was super comfy. The house is situated in a sweet, safe neighborhood. The hosts were very responsive and made everything easy. We felt very comfortable taking walks and looking around. Our stay was scheduled so we could easily attend some medical appointments and Mayo is only a little over 1 mile away. We will definitely recommend this place to others.

Very Cozy Comfortable House

The property is super cozy and comfortable for our family of four adults. Accessibility is excellent with a large bedroom on the main floor with plenty of space to walk around in and great bathroom also on the main floor with a very accessible shower. Both bathrooms appear newly updated. The upstairs bedroom is very cute, has plenty of space and both beds are extremely comfortable. The house was extremely clean, and I really appreciated the patio in front with comfortable sofa and chairs. Communication with the host was excellent.

Perfect Stay!

We were in Rochester to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday and dance recital. The Color House was perfect for us and our dogs. Nice to have one bedroom and bath on main floor and another of both upstairs. Great kitchen! (even gave us ideas for a much needed small dishwasher back home) Lovely little spot to stay!

Awesome place to stay!

This was such a welcoming place to stay and felt like home away from home immediately. Not only was it homey, it had such a fun feel to it as well. We came up here for a very big surgery and I think being surrounded by color and comfort was very helpful during our stay. It has absolutely everything you need for your stay and the beds.. oh man the beds were so comfortable which is always a huge deal for us. I have always had neutral decor in our home and being here opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for me and our home. The host was so kind and gave me some ideas on where to look to find things to achieve the look that I'm going for with my own home and even sent me links to the things I loved in the home. We are excited to stay here again in the next few months when we come back! 10/10 recommend!

Great place to stay!

My husband and I took my parents to Rochester for my dad to go to Mayo. I wanted a house vs two separate hotel rooms. It was great to be able to park right in front of the house so my parents didn’t have to walk far. My parents were able to stay on the main level and my husband and I had the upstairs with our own room and bathroom. My husband used the office/desk area upstairs to work while we were there. It was so nice to be able to have our meals at the house and not have to go out. It is just a short drive (just over a mile) to Mayo and worked out so well for us. We were very happy with the house and location - in a very quiet neighborhood. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the home!!! Becca was wonderful to work with. Thank you for providing this home as a great option for those visiting Rochester!! If all goes well and the house is available for my dad’s next appt - we will be booking it again! Thank you Becca!
