Historic Birdie's Cottage is perfect for one or two adults and an infant or child. Fantastic location.

One block to beach. Lovely neighborhood with no motels, hotels or condos. Close to everything. Romantic and whimsical. Two private bedrooms, super cute galley kitchen, landscaped backyard with BBQ grill (Available May-September only) and Hot Tub!

The rental agency was great, the house was not, I shortened the trip as I couldn’t stand to be in this “cottage” for the full planned trip. The place is Tiny, maybe 400sq’ but probably less, and clutter everywhere. Feels like grandma’s thrift store inside, trinkets everywhere, all walls covered, under the beds, and closets stuffed. You could barely move in this place without hitting something. I could go on but I wouldn’t know where to stop. *thought of a good one. Most of the windows are painted shut so the house is hard to air out with out leaving the two doors open. It’s stuffy and hot inside. I guess it could be nice for one person, that eats all meals out.

Birdie's Cottage is quaint and comfortable. It is small, but has everything you need. We especially loved the intimate hot tub in the backyard. We'd love to return sometime!

We loved our stay. We had so much fun looking at all the little Knick knacks and trinkets all over the house. The hot tub was cute and cozy, and the bed was nice and soft. A must stay for sure!

This was a wonderful home. It was close enough to the main attractions but far enough away that the evenings were quiet. The home was well stocked with kitchen items. The hot tub was a nice end to our days.

The driveway is lined with bushes that were not trimmed. Made it very difficult to get out of the car let alone get your suitcase out. Our last day, the guy who services the hot tub came with his trimmers and trimmed the bushes. The shower was maybe a 2x2 square and the door opened inward. The toilet was very low to the floor. If you are a tall person this will be a problem. The main bed was a full. I am 6 foot tall and slept at an angle. The house had a musty smell to it and there were no screens on the doors or windows so when you opened them to air it out, flys got it. The house is owned or ran by a company which owns several houses in the area. It was also built in 1910, i believe so you expect some things to be small. Behind the tv and several other places were very dusty.

Very cute and inviting. At first it seemed really small but we managed just fine. After being there for several days, we felt like we were coming home at the end of each day. Loved looking at all the different collections.

Fun historic property

Super fun kitschy spot. Probably qualifies as a tiny house but really cozy and relaxing. Beach is three blocks away and amazing. Great couple’s getaway!

Birdie's Cottage is a delight

Spending time at the coast in March is always a bet. The weather can go sideways, but the sun can also come out for short bits and you don't want to miss that. Staying at Birdie's ensures you're going to have a pleasant visit when stuck inside. There's lots of adorable vintage touches that feel cozy and warm, and plenty of cookware to make meals. And when that sun pops out, you're just a short walk from the beach to soak it in. This is a great place to stay for those beachers who are nostalgic for a cottage vibe with convenient access to beach and town amenities (bumper cars!). I highly recommend staying at Birdie's.

Every thing was great But we couldn’t find the check out procedures s we did the best we could. We swept, took off sheets and put towels in a pile washed and put up dishes, scrub briefly the sinks and put trash in one pile , turned off lights and heat Now I am home with a formYou all made saying close up instructions arre on the refrigerator which we did not look We love the cute little place and hope to return Hope this makes sense We will check refrigerator next time
