Meeting Manatees

The house was just as described, perfect for young and old! The location was perfect for seeing all the sights including Dolphin Research Ctr, Florida Aquarium, No Name Bar & Key West! The best part of each day was greeting and petting the manatees off the dock!

Livable space

Great property for a big group, very clean, and layed out perfect. The property manager Guy was great to deal with. Kayaking was great, Manatee sighting every day, and short drive to Key West.

Perfect Vacation!

We had such an amazing vacation at The Salty Lime! It was the perfect location right in the middle of The Keys! Only 1.5 hrs from Key West and Key Largo is just 1.5 hrs the other way. The water was beautiful. The locals were friendly. The house was just right for our family. We are definitely coming back. Dont let the airport scare you, you get used to it right away. Its not too busy.

Fantastic Home

We stayed at The Salty Lime for our annual family vacation with 14 people and the house was perfect. The amenities were great, the location was great and had plenty of dock space for our boats/jet skis. Also, the property manager Guy was very attentive and wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend.

Great property

We had a very large group. Guy was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. The property is beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very well taken care of. The pool was fantastic (even after we had a hiccup with the temperature)- Guy sent out the pool maintenance team to get it fixed right away. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us!!

Amazing Florida Keys House

We thoroughly enjoyed The Salty Lime! The house was exactly as shown and described and even better in person. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space but also enough large common areas to enjoy quality time together. We absolutely loved watching all of the wide life including almost daily manatee, egret and iguana visits.The pool and hot tub were perfect and the covered open air space under the house and upper porch were utilized by all. The home had everything we needed as far as linens, towels, kitchenware and dinnerware. Close to great restaurants but just far enough off Route 1 to be quiet and secluded. Plenty of things to do in the area as well so we were never bored. We all agreed we would absolutely come back to The Salty Like again and again! Thank you!

Key’s Family Trip

Overall impressions were wonderful! The house met our expectations and then some. Lots of attention to detail throughout. Plenty of room to spread out for multiple families needs! Everything was fresh and new. The pool and spa were fabulous! Elderly people would appreciate handrails. Dock, fishing, and kayaks were a big hit with the grandchildren. They loved watching fish and the occasional visit from a manatee! Beds were very comfy and the decor was very coastal. Extra beverage fridge and Margarita maker was a huge hit! Papa Joes and Sunset Grille were both great! Convenient location to drive to Key West for the day! All in all, great rental! Would definitely recommend!

The Florida Keys are like no other place in Florida and being able to share this little piece of paradise to folks that have never ventured this far south has been what's kept me truly appreciating what I have been doing for almost 20 year! The Island of Marathon is unique in many ways. For 1 it's one of the few places in the Florida Keys that you can rent a single family home weekly, instead of monthly. Being centrally located in the middle of the Keys also, allows you to be equal distance from the Main Land and Key West. Marathon is also one of only a couple islands that has an excellent mixture of everything (shopping, restaurants, beaches, grocery stores, medical, and a good handful of tourist activities located within 7 miles.
