The amenity that most attracted me to book this property was the private hot tub on the 1st floor porch. However, when I checked in the packet I was provided contained a letter that stated, "HOT TUB: Unfortunately, the hot tub on your porch does not operate." Other information indicated a 25 credit per day if the hot tub was not in operation. So I contacted the property manager after check out on our last day to ask about how to get the credit for the hot tub. I was told that the hot tub was operable and that the statement in my check in packet was incorrect, but they did say that they would provide me a credit for the misunderstanding. I have yet to receive this credit. Otherwise, the property was fine and in a nice location with easy bus access and within walking distance to downtown.

Location and space!

We had a great stay at 102E Corral. The space was a nice size and the location was perfect for skiing. The bus stop is right out back and you can walk to restaurants and shops! The place is outdated but it was clean and well stocked. Our kids loved the bunk bed!

Cheap, but in need of repair

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have used Peak management rentals before and had a good experience. The units are in a great location, the area is beautiful and we love Breckenridge. Unfortunately, in unit 102, black flakes of mold came out of the jets in the tub, the bathrooms doors don’t close all the way, the kitchen faucet buttons are broken, a cabinet door doesn’t close properly and the refrigerator doesn’t work which defeated the purpose of staying in a place with a kitchen. We turned the temperature to the lowest setting and it still didn’t get cold, so we ended up buying ice and using the freezer as a cooler. Most of the food we bought spoiled. All that being said, this was the cheapest place we’ve ever stayed and it still fit our family of six.

Great Spot

Great place to stay for a week in Breck. 5-10 min walk to lift and place was clean and well equipped. Private hot tub does not work.

Short stay

The place was clean and easy to find check in /out process was quick and easy. Only complaint I have is the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the master bedroom needs blackout curtains as a lot of light came in from the corridor. Overall everything was good kitchen has lots of cooking utensils and the fireplace was nice.

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at the property, we were discouraged to see how much work needed to be done; in very much of needed painting. the stairs were a challenge: four sets to get to our apt. Had to life the luggage from step to step. No help available on site. the apt was modest at best. no washer or dryer; coin type somewhere on the property up and down the stairs. so very different from any RCI property we have traded into.We left; with help of local manager we got a lovely apt nearby, on a very busy weekend and went home to Co Springs the next morning. very very disappointed. thank goodness for the kindness and concern of the local manager, Mike who was very professional all the way through our contact with him.

Our Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friends and I had a great time throughout our stay. The location was perfect, but a few things threw us off.1. When we came to the condo, there was NO instructions left for us about where the trash should be taken out or any instructions in general.2. Everything about the condo was very dated. The mattresses were old and "crunchy." The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable as well. It was freezing when we arrived at the condo. We turned the thermostat up, and it took an entire day to heat up. Then it was extremely hot in the condo for the rest of our stay, which was another 3 days. 3. Half of the cabinets in the condo were locked.....we did not have any cabinet or drawer space to store anything in either bathrooms. Very inconvenient 4. The dryer was not working. We were also left without any laundry detergent or dryer sheets5. There were NO instructions about checkout. We did not know if we needed to strip the beds, wash the dishes, wash towels, etc. All I knew was that I had to return the I would be very upset if I get fined for not doing something before we left.

A let down after waiting a year to travel to breck again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The trip was absolutely tarnished by our arrival and first night at the hotel. We arrived on a Saturday and at first was very pleased with the setup of the place. That is until my wife turned on the garbage disposal. Rotten food sprayed out into her face and on her purse. I called and left a message sun morning no response on Monday and Tuesday I had to call again at check out and told the situation again. The beds were hard as a rock, the bedrooms have no vents for air to get there. We didn’t run the heat but were still too hot at night to sleep comfortably. We opened our window only to be hit with pot smell so strong we thought we may get second hand high. My family made the best but no communication back at the end and only an apology about the disposal from the receptionist. I would absolutely not use peak properties or stay at the corral again.

Loved the location

Loved the location of this property, close to peak 9 and close to shops and restaurants. Short walk to everything. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. The hot tub did not work but we were given $50/night back on our rental fee. The community hot tub was located just above us and was a great option. Fire place was great and put off a lot of heat. Radiant heat in the flooring so the place was very comfortable and the tile floors in kitchen and baths were never cold. Jet tub in the main bath was also a nice addition after a full day of skiing.

Weekend trip

Actual unit might need to be updated to include some ceiling fans. Fridge needs to be replaced and had to be serviced while we were there as it would keep things cool or frozen on the freezer side. Gas grill outside needs to have the igniter replaced as it wouldn’t ignite either.

Birthday getaway

Loved every bit of our stay! The location of the property was absolutely perfect, and our check in processing was both friendly and flawless. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. My only regret is not being able to stay longer!

Thanksgiving in Breck

Had a great visit. Property is close to the ice skating rink and Carter park sled hill which was great for our two small children. Cooked Thanksgiving dinner at the condo and enjoyed an after dinner soak in the hot tub. Even added a night to our visit because of blizzard like conditions. Only complaint is that the apartment was hot most of the time so we had to open windows even though the thermostats were set way down and it was in the 30s outside.

Clean and spacious but dated.

Sleeping on beds without box springs made our bodies hurt. No complimentary coffee so make sure to bring your own. Manager was very welcoming and helpful.

Exactly what was promised in description

Great location with short walk to main street restaurants/shops and 5-10min walk to Peak 9 chairlifts. No issues with rental and check-in, check-out was smooth. Plenty of towels, basic toiletries, and very clean.
