Had everything we need for our toddler and baby and was perfect for a family. I will say there were a couple of broken items such as wall hooks, coffee table, and noticed a bed slat was broken. Nothing that substantially affected our experience though. Location was so convenient for using metro.

Very nice place in a convenient & safe area. Quick walk to Crystal City Metro. Convenience store in lower level of the building came in handy. Plenty of nearby restaurants. The apartment was comfortable & well stocked! Plenty of essentials on hand. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay & highly recommend this place & host.

This property was nothing short of abysmal. The building was undergoing renovations at the time of our stay. Not the host's fault, but the carpets in the hallway were stained and smelled like cat urine. Maintenance people were eactively painting, adding another level of odor to the atmosphere. Inside the apartment itself, billed as a "luxury retreat" was the very cheapest of everything that could be called "furniture". The bed frame literally fell apart upon sitting on the bed. There was a burned electrical socket in the bedroom as well. Our party of six were forced to sleep partly on the floor because the broken king size bedframe rendered one bed completely unusable.The typical VRBO experience we expect is as one would try to prepare for guests staying in your home; it's what makes a VRBO experience different from the hotel option. We always arrive to find homey touches like a few key spices and cooking essentials present as well as the typical assortment of pots and pans one would need in the kitchen for preparing a family meal. Instead there was only one frying pan, one sauce pan and one pot available. There wasn't so much as salt and pepper provided for guest use. The numerous cabinets and drawers were nearly all emply, save for some utensils, glasses and plates. No ice tray available to make ice, 3 hangers in the closet, hooks falling off the wall. All around the worst we've ever seen.

Ideal spot for a family visiting DC

Overall a great spot to return to after a day out visiting all that DC has to offer. Only a few blocks away from the Metro. We also enjoyed being a few minutes drive from Costco, Harris Teeter (grocery) as well as the Highlands Park tennis and basketball courts. We utilized the gym in the basement as well - it was never too crowded. The kitchen was functional. Lots of cups, dish and glass-wear. Would have appreciated a larger mixing bowl, casserole dish and ice cube trays for the freezer but we made do. Loved the usb chargers on a few of the outlets too. Ana was always responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Capitol getaway

This apartment was nice for our 4 day stay in the DC metro area. It was very close to Crystal Metro station for easy access to the capitol. The apartment was nicely appointed and very clean. We had a few hot days in the city, so just an FYI, the AC for the apartment building does not function until May/June.

Spring Break in DC

We had a wonderful stay at this location. It was super close to Washington DC and the metro. Easy to get around and everyone we met in the area was friendly and helpful. Loved that the complex has a convenience store on the lower level.

Clean and bright

Thank you for letting us stay at your place! The apt was extremely clean and bright feeling. Everything was comfortable and spacious for a family of 6. There is a lot to do in the D.C. area which is only 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you!

Family trip to DC

The location was great! Easy access to the Metro and lots to do within walking distance (restaurants/bars/movie theater). Felt safe walking around even late at night. Plenty of room in the apartment. Clean and well kept.

Great Place to Stay and Explore DC

We are brought our teenage daughters to Washington. Super location to catch the metro and see all the typical DC sights. Plenty of food options in the neighborhood. Convenient onsite store for snacks or forgotten items in the basement. Apartment had plenty of room and was nicely equipped.
