Welcome to The Salty Dog Condo at Sea Coast Suites located in the small beach town of Surf City, NC. Surf City is the heart of the 26-mile barrier island, Topsail Island.

Wake up and enjoy your coffee on the veranda while watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean.

Take in breathtaking views of the sunset behind the Surf City Bridge.

Once you're here, park your car for the duration - you can walk to everything!

Walk across the street and grab a protein smoothie from Surf Break Nutrition or a breakfast bagel and your favorite coffee delight from The Daily Grind.

It's a one minute walk to the beach access and a two minute walk to the fishing pier, to experience the Touch Tank Aquarium, or surfing lessons at Surf City Surf School.

Enjoy the beautiful weather and lunch at Shaka Taco, Daddy Mac's, Buddy's or NY Corner Deli...all within a two minute walk from the Salty Dog Condo.

Don't forget a trip to North Shore Juice for an Acai Bowl, Topsail Island Popcorn, or Sweet Island for ice cream and a Pup Cup!

There are numerous beach shops, the IGA Grocery Store, and too many restaurants and sweet delights to name!

As for dinner on the town: there really are too many to name!

You can't miss the live music and nightlife at UnWined!

If you prefer to stay in and prepare your own meal, the kitchen at Salty Dog is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, dishes, a blender, a Nutribullet, a toaster, a Keurig and a regular coffee-maker, mixing bowls and utensils. There are some spices available but if you don't see what you need, the IGA Grocery Store is a 5 minute walk!

Want to prepare your own local seafood? Get everything you need at Surf City Crab Seafood Market on Roland Ave.

Enjoy the gas grill and new picnic table beside the Sea Coast Suites.

Looking for more: There are multiple grocery stores, restaurants, breweries and shops, all with-in an 10 minute drive, just over the bridge!

I never miss the opportunity to indulge in fresh local oysters from The Oyster Barn; a local beer at The Salty Turtle; and ending the evening at Hidden Ships Distillery!

Perfect condo in Surf City!

This was our first time in Surf City and we absolutely loved it! Not only was the town amazing and it had everything we needed, the condo was just right for us! Very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The condo was about a 1 min walk to the beach. I truly cannot say enough about the perfection of this condo for a small family!

The property was excellent. Parking under building wonderfully cool. I would have preferred a private deck. Beach towels provided, beach chairs there also... Coffee, Creamer provided but no sugar substitutes? Beds fantastic, sheets wonderful, extra soft blankets. Very comfortable stay... Thanks

Lovely clean and modern apartment. Location couldn't have been any better, 5 minute walk (if that) to the beach and to the shops/restaurants. Highly recommend!

Fantastic

The condo and property is clean with very close beach access and beautiful views. We needed wheelchair access and this building has an elevator and there are sidewalks on this street. The host is responsive and is going the extra mile to help us get back shoes left behind. Would book again!

I stayed here with my wife and nine-month-old twins and we had the best time. The condo is clean and well kept and we had plenty of room for everything. Very comfortable stay. Walkable to dining and shopping and tons of public beach access. Stacey is a friendly and remarkable host with excellent communication. Would stay here again!.

Family Trip

We took our 3 kids to the beach for the first and the stay was phenomenal. Stacey had sent us a list of tons of things to with our kids. The condo was clean and they had beach chairs and towels to use! The check in and check out process was super straightforward and easy. We’ll definitely be back!
