Great stay!!

We had so much fun here! Literally has everything you might need for a week long stay. We even caught a nurse shark off the dock and really enjoyed the manatees coming around everyday. I got to pet them! Can’t wait to come back!

Cute little apartment just right for two people

This place was perfect for my husband and I. The rest of our family was staying just down the street and staying separate gave us our privacy back. This apartment was tucked away enough that we felt comfortable leaving our Jeep top down and sleeping with the windows and back door open. We enjoyed our morning coffee right out back on the canal. Launched our kayak from the dock (hope for high tide, it's a big drop if the tide is low) and headed to the right out of the canal. And the shower was huge which was enjoyable. I was even able to do a load of laundry before heading home. There are only two things I think this place could use: a couch, although I'm not sure where it would go, and another dresser as I am one that has to unpack everything. I had to message about the wifi code, but the owner got back to me quickly. We would 100% stay here again.

Cute apartment in a nice neighborhood

We had a great stay, my husband and I both attracted the no seeums, had to use ALOT of bug spray. We enjoyed the dock, and watching the fish in the canal. The location was very convenient.

Studio Marathon

Grouper Lane

Our apartment was very clean and cute. Small, but we knew that and were quite ok with it. Communication with owner was very good. Area was very quiet and close to the water. We enjoyed fishing from the dock especially watching the parrot fish and catching a few mangrove snapper, watching lobsters and iguanas. Kayaking was cut short by a visit from some sharks! Easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. We were pleased with our first stay in the Keys. Thank you.

Nice Place to get away.

This was a great place for one or two people to stay. The apartment is small but cozy. Loved having the water right out the back door. Owner was super pleasant to deal with.

Another Great Experience

This was my 2nd time staying at this property, and it was a really enjoyable visit, as it was last year. The owner really has it together which makes it an ideal place to stay. I highly recommend this property for one or two guests. It has everything you could possibly want to ensure you have a great time.

Comes with kayaks and bikes!

This clean, no-frills studio with dock on a Gulf-side canal is a perfect home base for budget minded singles or couples planning an activity filled vacation. Paddling and biking to local restaurants, nature parks and beaches was our favorite pursuit each day and we had a great time. Previous reviewers have described this small stand alone apartment accurately. The comforts we care about most in a rental, such as comfortable bed, nice shower, reliable coffee maker, easily operable TV, all were met. While this isn't the type of place where you'd be happy lounging around inside day after day admiring the view, this little house as all you need to get out the door for daily adventuring.

Grouper Drive Studio Canal House, Marathon

This was a perfect spot for my husband and I to come to the Keys to do a weeks worth of lobstering. The studio house on the canal with dockage allowed us to have our boat right outside our back door, and then it was just a quick jaunt out to the bay/Gulf. Having ample space on the property to park our boat trailer was a huge bonus and a public boat ramp was just a few blocks away for an easy in and out. We were on a mission to catch lobsters on this trip, so we didn’t have time to use the kayaks or bicycles, but I would love to come back to take advantage of those amenities. There were plenty of bath towels and the kitchen was well equipped with dinnerware, utensils and pots and pans. The bathroom is a little tight for tall persons, who will have to sit on the toilet side saddle if they want to close the door. There was one issue of water on the floor in the bathroom, however, within hours of informing Marisela (property manager/owner) about the issue, a plumber came and fixed the problem thanks to Marisela’s quick actions. Also, I would like to make one suggestion: Please get some slip-stop padding for the rugs as they are very slippery. Oh, one last thing
On the last night of our stay we had a bonus! As my husband was rinsing off the boat at the dock, a big manatee came and just hung out for a while behind the boat. This beautiful creature was half the size of our boat!! This was a perfect ending to a wonderful stay on this cute little property. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Julie & Eddie Bennett

Our new tradition vacation

Our family has been coming to the keys for years. This was my first trip without my parents, my fiancĂ© and I had so many worries for the trip. Staying somewhere new was a big change for us but it was just what we wanted and needed. Perfect location to our favorite breakfast joint, (wooden spoon) easy access to our top choice island at the end of the canal, endless amenities. Although the gas was unfortunately left on by a previous guest everything was in working order. House come with 2 of just about everything and endless hot water. The host was great about communicating and answering questions. Will definitely stay there again next year if it’s Available.

Just as pictured, quite spot. A little confusing about the dock space since it is shared with the next door unit? But they were super nice about sharing! Close to boat ramp and shopping.

This rental is terrible

Bugs everywhere, extremely small and the air conditioning system did not work. Communication with owner was very poor. We left after 2 nights.

Convenient, clean, great communication!

This little studio is perfectly located in Marathon (one street away from town, shopping) as well as the other Keys. Everything was clean when we arrived. We really enjoyed kayaking in the canal!! Marisela was quick to respond when I first inquired as well as any questions I had along the way. Recommend to someone looking for a clean and quiet place to rest after a beautiful day in the Keys! Neighborhood was great!

Small but Location and location!

Marisela was phenomenal! Communication with her was amazing. When concerns arose she was responding within minutes, sometimes faster. It is a small unit but was perfect for spouse and I with our Dog. Outside perks of dock, hammock, kayaks, bikes, etc. was excellent. Boat ramp just blocks away was super convenient. Ample parking for truck and trailer.

Perfect spot

The efficiency was perfect for us. The neighborhood was quiet, plenty of parking and nice dock out back. It is small inside but we were fine with that as we’re outside most of the trip. Had a little trouble getting the front door unlocked at first and Marisol came right over to help. We will be back again.

Surprising Property

As I drove up I was wondering what I had gotten into. Outside definitely showed its age, but was i ever so pleasantly surprised when I entered it. It has been beautifully and efficiently remodeled with everything being first class. Looking out back here was a boat dock and a canal with easy access. Also it was very clean and ready for occupance. The Owner is without a doubt a real pro in running this rental. I would definitely return. A great property for 1 or 2 people.
