Very nice house but could not fully enjoy the weekend as the house was filthy! The bathroom had to be cleaned before we could even use it. Floors were disgusting; windowsills and corners were full of dirt and bugs. Bedding was not clean. There were spider webs that had to be knocked down before we could enter the back door. We could not even use the outdoor area until it had been cleaned. Grass had recently been mowed, but all porches and concrete were covered in grass and had to be swept to keep from tacking grass into the home. The upstairs porch was so dirty you we were not able to use it. Again, not even a comfortable stay because EVERYTHING was filthy. I think it's safe to say there are parts of the outside of this home, even the porch where you would spend time cooking and enjoying being at the lake, that have not been cleaned in years. And I guarantee there are parts of the inside that have not been touched in many, many months. When I found this property, I was very hopeful this was a rental we would be interested in spending some time at every year. I have a large family, and the accommodations are perfect for us. It's a beautiful home and the location is great. I can only wonder if the owners are aware of the condition of their property? It is safe to say that I will NEVER be renting with Amber Harms again.

Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, and this is certainly not the experience we want any guest to have. This was very surprising to hear because we have had dozens of 5 star reviews over multiple platforms during the past year and never a complaint concerning the cleanliness of the home. We wish these concerns had been brought to our attention during your stay so we could have immediately sent our cleaning team back to address any issues. We are always available to resolve problems while our guests are in the home. Since receiving your review, we have thoroughly inspected the property with our cleaning and maintenance teams. As a lakefront home, we do occasionally deal with spiders, insects, and outdoor debris due to the natural environment, especially during the summer months, but that should never prevent guests from enjoying the property. We have also reviewed our cleaning procedures to ensure our standards continue to be met. We appreciate your compliments about the home's layout and location, and we're sorry your overall experience did not reflect the level of hospitality we strive to provide. We take all guest feedback seriously and will use it to continue improving.

This place is AMAZING!!!

This property is everything advertised plus! Very well laid out. Great appliances and a very nice newer property. Easy to get to town, even better to stay and enjoy the outdoors. Easy to walk the dog. Deer running around every day. Amazing place!!!
