Gorgeous home!

The pictures don’t do it Justice! This home is beautiful and extremely spacious. It’s three stories so gives everyone plenty of shape to relax! Great location and access to the water. Highly recommend this place!

The house was very clean and organized and the hosts were very easy to work with. Great views. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at the lake.

Great stay!

The house is beautiful! It was very spacious and gave each family the privacy needed. The street was perfect for riding bikes and the cove for riding kayaks. The only downfall is the steep parking with boats but we made it work.

Better than we expected

This house and property were amazing. Loved the area and it was close to town while being right on the lake. The bedding and decor was top notch. Also the house was so very clean. Lover that there was no TV so our kids could appreciate being at the lake and have valuable family time.

Fishing tournament

This is a beautiful house with a very nice view. Everything about this house was great and the host was extremely nice and helpful. I plan to rent this place again very soon.

Awesome 4th of July weekend

Beautiful accommodations with the best mattresses around. The lake is just outside the back door and offered us a dock for swimming and fishing. Oh and the hostess was the mostest. Need to put it on your bucket list of places to stay

Christmas Blessing

This house is so beautiful and extremely comfortable. We gathered with family for Christmas celebrations and this house did not disappoint. Sitting on the front porch and standing by the lake was perfect and beautiful. I would recommend to anybody.

Absolutely perfect!

This place is absolutely amazing! Perfect location, clean, spacious and the beds are so comfortable!! I can’t say enough about this vacation home! To top it all off there was a welcome basket waiting for us and we were offered the option to go early when it was ready. Will definitely save this for future visits. If you are looking for the perfect spot to relax and unwind this is your sign to book this one!

Fathers Day 2024

We had a great Father’s Day weekend with our 2 sons and their families. Wonderful house with spacious bedrooms and living area The owners were very easy to communicate with and left a very nice snack basket for us to enjoy!! Wonderful holiday!

Family reunion

We had multiple properties in the area for our large family reunion. Our house had 5 bedrooms accommodating all of my immediate family. House was beautiful and very comfortable. Lake view very nice with a clean beach. Deck on back was in full sun and very hot during the day otherwise a perfect setting.

Perfect weekend

This home is perfect in every way! In my 67 years of staying all over the world this would be my top 5. Beautiful home, bedding, home decorating to the snack basket on the kitchen counter. Beautiful lake front view with perfect access. The kitchen was a dream to cook in with everything. The pictures do not do this place justice. We rented a boat from Bryan, Needmoreboat and he delivered it to the front of the house. Thank you for the thoughtful details. We will be back.

July stay. Beautiful 3 story house on the water. It has a floating dock and watching the wildlife was great. The fish were actively hitting the top of the water and, even though the cove is shallow, we caught several bass and I saw a 10 pounder jump out of the water a couple of times. We had a visit from a large flock of Canadian Geese! Besides having to bring our own tv’s, the home was fully stocked. It is in Rayburn Country, so it was only a 5 minute drive to the club and pool and maybe 15 minutes from District 255. The only negative would be that the home needs some deep cleaning. There was mold around the upstairs bedroom a/c vents, cobwebs throughout the home, and there was quite a bit of dirt in all the corners. The owner, though, was very responsive to my questions and polite. It is decorated beautifully. I would definitely rent here again.corners.

Nice Lake House - a few improvements would make it 5*'s

Overall a nice place with beautiful lake view. Only 5 mins from Dollar store and a few restaurants. There was a notice on the fridge about the water in the area not being safe to drink - there was bottled water available in the pantry. The house could have had better equipped in the kitchen - old coffee pot, no tea kettle, only supplied plastic/melamine plates that could not be used in the microwave, 1/2 roll of paper towels. No tv's at all (this WAS in the listing) - but it was odd. All beds were very comfortable. Very nice master bath. Downstairs shower very small. Upstairs bathtub/shower nice - middle of showerhead did not work in this bathroom. Creepy stuffed critters (real foxes, racoons) in downstairs/bedroom area. Taste specific I guess, but they freaked us out when we came in the door. ;-)

We are sorry you did not find your stay 5-star enjoyable, however, thank you for 4 stars. For reference, we did have a new Keurig coffee pot on the kitchen counter and k-cups available for guests’ use. We also had Chinet brand plates that are not plastic and are safe for microwave use in the kitchen cabinets. The shower head upstairs does work, it has a knob that has to be turned on. The “creepy critters” are a canoe with some mounted animals sitting inside that we have for decor. Nothing creepy about it here in Texas! The water is permissible to drink, as the letter posted stated. The water department just has to notify its customers when any particular level gets high as long time consumption may cause health issues though not proven. We are sorry for any inconvenience!
