Enjoy your stay at this comfortable cabin! Located on 13 picturesque acres makes you feel like you’re at home away from home all while being a very short distance to all that French Lick, West Baden and Patoka Lake have to offer. This cabin is only 1 mile from downtown French Lick and is very easy to access. We are pet friendly and have plenty of property for nice walks in nature. There is also enough parking space to bring your boat along. Our fast wifi makes it great for those working remote as well as for additional entertainment when your busy day of tourism comes to and end. We have a great fire pit with a beautiful seating area as well. With comfortable beds, a coffee bar and ease of access, we are sure you will enjoy your stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was perfectly dog-friendly, and our pup loved roaming the land freely. It was such a peaceful spot, yet close to everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.

Cute rustic place with great proximity to French Lick. Had a fun golf weekend with the wife. Owners are super Nice.

Relaxing weekend getaway

We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend getaway along with our lab, Snickers. There is minimal traffic on the road in front and nothing but nature in the back. The host David is very welcoming and accommodating.

Great stay

The property manager is second to none. We really enjoyed meeting hime and his Team. The home was very clean and we were so happy they were dog people. If the weather had been better it would have been great to walk the back pelart of the property.

This has potential to be a great place. The location is excellent if you want to enjoy French Lick and West Baden without paying resort prices for your room. The kitchen is very functional and easy to work in. The overall layout is great. Communication with the host was quick and easy, and they were very accommodating. There were several things that could have been improved about the property. The bathrooms look unfinished from the floors to the trim to the wobbly toilets. There's a lot of empty wall space in both bathrooms, but no towel bars, just a couple of hooks. The shower head is not high enough for a full-grown adult to take a comfortable shower. One member of our group is over 80 years old, and she had limited seating options in the living room - our dogs, on the other hand, loved the big comfy circular chairs. The heat was tricky. Most of the spaces had good heaters, but a couple didn't. Overall, if you don't have any mobility issues and you don't mind some rough finishes, this is a decent place. If you're looking for high-end, this isn't there yet, but it feels like they're still working on it.

Unable to stay due to unexpected family emergency, but host was responsive and understanding. Look forward to staying there some time in the future. Circumstances were handled professionally and timely.

Plumbing issue galore

Just spent the weekend there and spent the weekend trying to soak up water from under the floors thats seaping through every where. Wrote the owner about it and never heard back, so the three moms who went there to spend a relaxing weekend away instead spent the weekend cleaning up floors. Itll be great when thats fixed and when the owner handles it himself instead of making his renters deal with it. Not happy at all with this stay.

Overall Nice

Our family overall had a nice time here. The two bedrooms are a decent size, and the bathrooms are updated. The main flow of the cabin is nice, and it was great having a washer/dryer. The owner was very friendly and stopped by a couple times, and was very quick to respond to questions. Lots of towels and extra blankets/ bedding was also nice. Our only complaint was that there was construction going on in the unit above us while we were staying there, which was both noisy with workers walking around and drilling, etc, but also was making our unit dirty/ dusty. When we checked in, the in suite bathroom did not feel clean, like there was construction dust all over the bathroom (sink, shower, toilet, floor, etc.) I wiped it down the first night we were there, but then after the workers were doing construction, it continued to appear. Location was nice, not too close to other houses, but seemed like an ok area, and close to town for going out and doing activities. Wifi was also good quality (needed to attend a zoom meeting during our stay, and had no issues with connection.)
