We spent Thanksgiving weekend here and it was great. We had 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids) plus an extra 2 adults who were staying at a hotel. They have a folding table that gets to the height of the dinning table (which is at bar height). The kitchen is small- in particular if you’re hosting Thanksgiving! BUT we made it work! The owners are great communicators and reply to any questions or issues that arise. Here are some important pieces of information for fellow travelers:1. The bar height table. This was an issue cause one of our members really can’t sit with her legs off the ground. 2. The couch is HUGE! I loved it- but my mom felt it was too deep. For me that’s perfect cause I like to snuggle in to it. 3. They have plenty of towels4. The water is right outside as pictured but it’s important to note your at a narrow exit of it. The community pool and tennis courts are within a throws flow from the house. 5. The boardwalk is nice to walk on- but it is rather short. No fault of the owners- obviously! 6. Our dog did a great job and had no issue. 7. When using the microwave the lights in the kitchen dim. This is normal. 8. Electric stoves are annoying and if your cooking it’s important that you recognize they are different than gas. 9. All the lights are nicely labeled! 10. The downstairs room has a good size king. 11. Both bathrooms are “jack and Jill” with the upstairs rooms sharing them and the downstairs sharing with the common area and master bedroom.
