Welcome to Casa Vida Azul! Our charming private villa is located in Tambor, next to one of Costa Rica's most stunning golf courses, within the secure and picturesque community of Los Delfines. This vibrant community is full of indigenous wildlife and offers uninterrupted, breathtaking views of the coastline and majestic mountains & steps to the beach.

Our villa is a spacious 3-bedroom bungalow that can accommodate 7 guests, with the option of an additional self-inflated mattress. It is surrounded by lush foliage and features a beautiful private saltwater inground pool. Even with these enticing amenities, the beautiful beach is just a minute's walk away. This stunning 8-kilometer stretch of pristine sandy beach is located in Ballena Bay. With its calm waters, this idyllic setting is perfect for leisurely morning walks, swimming and ultimate relaxation. That said, Los Delfines is a vibrant community and for those who like to stay busy; you will find a weekly schedule with Zumba, Pickle ball tournament, Tennis courts on-site, Golf, Beach Yoga, Beach volleyball, outdoor movie nights; as well as, a tour booth for day trips, such as horseback riding on the beach, snorkeling, ziplining, amazing hikes to waterfalls!

But that's not all! Within the gated community of Los Delfines, you’ll find a delightful Beachfront Restaurant & Bar (Rancho) just a short 5-minute walk away, alongside the cozy Fire Bean Café, where you can indulge in specialty coffee. Absolutely amazing stay for our family of four! Nadine and team were extremely responsive the entire time, including helping us through medical issues. :) I have never felt so personally taken care of by a team of people at a VRBO. They were extremely invested in us having a great time. It was our kids favorite place we stayed on our vacation and was extremely kid friendly. Clean, accessible and everything was so well organized. We would come back here in a heartbeat!

This is such an enjoyable house. I highly recommend it for any families, including those with kids/teenagers. Communication was excellent, very quick responses and suggestions mainly by Nadine our main contact host. Instructions and information about the house very clear and easy to follow. However, thanks to the rest of the hosts, Shawna, Mike and Suzanne for their contributions to make our stay outstanding. Exactly as advertised. Beds super comfortable. Plenty of extra bedding and towels. The pool was a plus, along with so many toys and other sports supplies to keep kids and teenagers entertained. The beach is like a block away, so convenient. This is an amazing place.

Absolutely lovely home

From start to finish I was impressed with everything. From the cleanliness of the home to the responsiveness of the hosts, not to mention the beautiful property and only being a 2 minute walk to the beach. I would certainly stay here again during my next visit to the Nicoya Peninsula

This property was amazing, beautifully decorated and clean. The pictures don't do it justice. The house was huge for our big family. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were very comfortable, not hard at all and soft linens. Every room has A/C. The only maybe negative was the bedroom aircons would shut off after 5 hours which woke me up around 3 every morning. We would definitely stay here again though! Suzanne was great too!The area was very quiet in July. The kids loved the pool and the beach and exploring and the ice cream lady nearby. The location is perfect to drive around and explore the different areas and beaches.Walking the grounds we saw scarlet macaws, caiman, monkeys, various birds, crabs and a crocodile.The only negative which has nothing to do with the house is the crocodile in the ocean. There are no warning signs anywhere. My kids boogie boarded and we all splashed around. The next morning on a beach walk just offshore I saw a huge crocodile eating a flounder or fish in the water right where we were swimming and playing the day before. I have a little ptsd now.

Casa Vida Azul perfect for our stay in Tambor/Montezuma.

Easy to get to. Very nice neighborhood. Clean and modern with individual A/C for each room. Suzanne met us in front of house and walked us through the operation and features of property. The 2 brochures they sent us ahead of time were very informational and useful. We stayed at 3 properties in various towns on this trip and this was the concensus favorite.

This property is well-situated in the neighborhood wherein if you go outside the front door, look right, there's the beach within view, less than a 2 minute walk from where you're standing. It's a gated community, which makes it safe for walking around whenever, which we did a few nights. There is a really good restaurant, El Rancho, about 3 minutes walking distance. Each room has its own updated programable AC unit and the pool has a cleaner who stops by in the morning to clean it up. From the beach, we had tours pick up us for snorkeling, Tortuga Island, and bioluminescence tours (Tours Paradise company). There's a small store nearby too to stock the fridge, buy produce, and plan meals. You're also about 20 minutes from Curu Wildlife reserve if you're interested in seeing local wildlife. Overall, recommended and we enjoyed our stay there.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. It was immaculately clean and has a fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities one could need, including a water/ice make in fridge and full size washer and dryer. The pool in the back is very clean and well maintained and the property is just a short walk to the beach - our kids were thrilled with both! The host was very friendly and responsive and she even left us a bottle of wine in the fridge with a welcome note - this was such a nice touch to ‘come home’ to! We would love to return and would recommend this properly to friends :) Thank you!
