This unit is on the 4th floor at Anchor Resort. You wil have access to an elevator if you are unable to use stairs. This unit is a feel right at home studio. It can accomodate 4 guests. 2 pets max are allowed, 35lbs max. This complex offers 2 pools, 1 heated indoor and 1 outdoor with a water canal view. Boat slips are available and can be schedule with the front desk in advance. This complex has a gym that includes, a sitting eliptical, treadmill, stationary bike, and punching bag. There is a library room and a confrence area if needed.
Bed area: Offers a Queen bed with a comfortable mattress that will have you sleeping like a baby. The bed is adjustable and can be at any level to your liking.
Living area: Offers a Full size pull-out foam mattress bed. There are games and puzzles to entertain everyone. 65" flat screen TV with basic cable, fire stick TV, DVD player and movies to enjoy after a nice day at the beach.
Kitchen and Dining Area: Offers a full stocked kitchen with granite countertops. Keurig coffee maker with pods are provided during your stay. Children dining ware is provided. Dining table can seat 4.
Bathroom: A shower/tub combo to safely get those kiddos nice and clean. It is stocked with towels, washcloths, makeup wipes, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, blow dryer and plenty of storage.
Balcony: You will have a furnished private balcony with 2 chairs and a table. You can enjoy your coffee, a glass of wine, watch the sunrise, a sunset in the evening, read a book, or enjoy a cold one while listening to your favorite tunes.
Pools: 1 indoor heated pool with plenty of sitting area. Or head down to the outdoor pool by the water where you will find a nice sunset view. Plenty of sitting and lounging to get a nice tan! Pool accessories to enjoy during your stay!
Boat slips: Boat slips are available and can be scheduled with Anchor Resorts front office in advance. $25.00 a day to reserve a slip. Fishing pier to enjoy at your leisure.
Outdoor: BBQ grill and picnic tables are provided, along with grill cooking ware. Charcoal is not provided.
Guests may access the indoor pool, outdoor pool, fishing pier, canal, workout center, conference room (advanced noticed needed), on-site laundry room and outdoor bbq and picnic table areas. Boat slips are available to schedule with the front office at a rate of $25.00 a day. You can park your boat trailer at Marker 37 at a rate of $5.00 a day. You can drive your vehicle onto the beach with a beach permit, purchased at the gas station down the street. You can also park at the Michael J. Ellis seawall parking lot that is located on Windward.
We have partnered with other local small businesses on the island, and when you book with us, you will receive great perks in the rental guide we provide (including discounts with golf cart rentals, beach rentals, grocery concierge, in home massages, boutiques, salons, and free appetizers at certain resaurants)

Fishing trip
This place was amazing. It was clean and quiet . Love the location. Everything was close and didn’t have to cross over the bridge for anything. Love how the host had a binder with food suggestions. Was the perfect place to stay for being my first time to the Texas coast. Will definitely stay here again.

The place was clean, compact, and cozy for the two of us. We enjoyed out stay. The property manager was gracious and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Corpus Christi, visiting with family, and attending our nieces graduation ceremony and after party.

Everything was fine except the elevator goes out and when you’re in the fourth floor, trying to get your luggage down to the parking lot it’s a problem especially for older persons

Ehh...
The property was clean, and the photos accurately represented the space. The room itself was decent and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. However, the experience was soured by poor communication. Messages to the property manager were either significantly delayed or not responded to at all. Unfortunately, because of the lack of responsiveness and management oversight, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt communication from the property manager was delayed. After reviewing the message history on VRBO, we noted that your booking was made on July 3rd for a stay beginning on July 7th. On the morning of July 7th, the property manager provided all the necessary information for your stay.
On July 8th, you reached out requesting a refund for your second night, as you needed to leave earlier than planned. You also mentioned that you would be happy to leave a glowing five-star review in exchange for the refund. However, as per the owner’s cancellation policy, once a reservation has begun (i.e., after check-in), refunds are not possible due to the dates being blocked off for your stay.
The property manager responded to explain this, and shortly after, a 3-star review was posted. While we understand your disappointment, we’re sorry to see the overall rating reflect the outcome of the refund request rather than your experience at the property.
We do appreciate your stay at CJ’s Cove #183 and thank you again for your feedback.
