This beautiful and private apartment is the whole Second Floor of a 2-Family House/ Duplex. It has its own entrance. Park In Front of the House. Great kitchen with marble, tile, modern appliances and a beautiful nature view. 3 private bedrooms, 2 queen size beds. Nice, renovated Full Bath with tile. Living room with mounted flat screen TV. Renovated, private 3rd floor space with seating. House is from 1898 and has high ceilings and NJ Victorian style. 30 minutes to New York by Lincoln Tunnel or George Washington Bridge. Walk to Downtown to find some places to eat and convenience stores. There is 7-11, Dunkin Donuts, coffee shops, bakeries, a small supermarket and Asian and Spanish restaurants. Just look at all the Five-Star reviews!

Nice place to stay

Clean and bright

Listing as described, clean and bright 3Br apt on the second floor of a house on a nice residential block. Walk to coffee and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home

Everything described in the property and what you seen in the pictures is exactly the same. The house was beautiful, clean and perfect for all of our needs! Very close to transportation, restaurants and stores, all are within walking distance of 5-10 minutes. The property owner was always responsive immediately with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to the East Coast! :-)

No major complaints but, listing should highlight NO microwave in kitchen and staircase is quite narrow in terms of navigating with luggage/bags.

The stay was great, the picture shows only two bedroom, it was really three bedrooms. Google map gave the wrong information about bus schedule. Apple map gives correct information about bus going to 42nd street.

The property manager wasn't the friendliest. He refused.to let our two kids stay. Even though there was room. He was rude. The apartment was nice and clean.

Her review did not mention the most important point. They booked for 4 people, the maximum allowed. They arrived with 6! Funny how that's not in the review. They said they were going to get a refund in an angry way and find a new place because I wouldn't let in 2 extra people they Just Showed Up With. I just said OK. I was never rude, ever. I repeated that they signed up for 4 people and that is the max. For them you have to break your own rules to serve them and if you don't you are rude! People don't read or care what rules they agreed to. This is the exact reason I have to meet every guest at the door now. I have to prevent people from trying to Take things that are not theirs. They also obviously smoked in the house, breaking another rule, leaving it Very smelly. They also ruined a bath towel and checked out late. If you want a place for 6 people, book a place for 6 people! I provided Everything promised on the site. The only reason for 4 stars is because I wouldn't break my own rules on Maximum occupancy. I would not rent to these people again. They have a Bad attitude.

Family visit

We rented here for a visit with family and it worked out perfectly for us, plenty of room and comfortable. It may not be fancy and extravagant like people may want from the area, but was beyond comfortable, clean and convenient. Beds were more comfortable than most rentals I have used (a huge plus and exactly why we weren't staying with immediate family!), all rooms clean as can be and pretty spacious as well. We did not use the kitchen given the nature of our stay, other than the fridge, but was very well stocked if we had wanted to. Great place, especially for the price! We will be back for our next visit

Did Not stay here and VRBO did not provide a refund to him because he could Not provide a good reason to cancel after check-in time. He is still harassing me about getting a refund when this was already decided once by VRBO. This place is a 10, like the other reviews say and pictures show. Not welcome.

Nice area close to NY, 30 minutes. I liked the old style house and the large property. Bergen County has a lot to offer in just a short drive.

Built in 1898. It has an old style with modern conveniences. House has a large yard for the area. It is also a tall house that has its own garage. It has 2 distinct apartments where each one has privacy and their own bath. The attic is finished, offering another living space.
