James was responsive and accommodating during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfy and the kitchen seemed to be well stocked, however we did not use it to cook. The only thing I wanted to note was I did find thumb tacks and pieces of maybe balloon in the living room. Im glad I noticed before my dogs did!

James was very responsive to all questions we had. When we checked in, there was an issue with the downstairs bathroom. He addressed it very quickly, and had it fixed. Great place to call home for the week of Thanksgiving!

Interior needs maintenance. Advertised as several bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is next to the first floor bedrooms. In that bathroom a towel rack was hanging off the wall. The second bathroom is in the basement at the bottom of steep stairs. Very inconvenient and this should have been explained. In the finished basement a door in a play room with a crib in it was hanging off the hinges. Game pieces were missing so games couldn’t be played. There is a large dead plant in the dining room. Small touches such as a box of Kleenex or some water were absent. Too expensive for what was provided. Host was able to be contacted when needed and it was clean.

A few of the maintenance issues, such as the towel rack and door, were unfortunately caused by the previous guests just before your arrival and could not be repaired in the short turnaround time. The location was just perfect. Quiet family/dog-friendly neighborhood - felt very safe. Close to places in Evanston we needed to be for a wedding. Easy/quick uber or Lyft ride. Starbucks and McDonalds a 6 minute walk!

Great property

This was a delightful property close to the Evansville Township High school. We stayed here for my son's college graduation. Everything was up to date and nicely appointed. I don't know that we would need to stay here again, but if we did I would definitely want to stay at this property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was cute and comfy, the neighborhood was quaint, and the location was awesome. The hosts were very easy to communicate with when we had questions. If we ever find ourselves in Evanston again we would definitely return here!

Home in Evanston

Very clean, large home to accommodate multiple adults. Loved the ping pong table,playing bingo, checkers, and watch TV. Loved the bathrooms and plenty of additional parking in the paved area in the backyard with gated fence. We will be returning as we attand a yearly convention at the Holiday Inn 14 min away. Plenty of places to eat in the near by area Ihighrecommend

Cousin Reunion near Northwestern University

My family and I had a great time staying in this home. It was clean and spacious. Adequate sleeping space for 8 adults. We played board games in the dining room while having easy access to snacks in the kitchen. James was responsive and helpful.
