This Cottonwood AZ house rental provides a unique, peaceful stay for those looking to getaway on weekends or have a quiet place to work remotely during the week.

Our family-friendly home hosts up to 6 people. Bring your dog to enjoy the large fenced-in yards, BBQ and patio table in backyard.

Our cozy cottage interior features original vintage wood paneling details paired with southwest and Cowboy-inspired decor details. It’s equipped with every modern convenience, including new faux wood floors, AC/heating, and fast wireless internet.

Bedroom 1: The Master & BA
Queen bed, new medium firm mattress, wood headboard, nightstand table and lamp, 2 dressers, suitcase rack, 2 closets, window with blackout curtains, private full bathroom.

Bedroom 2
Queen bed with large wooden frame and shelf, firmer mattress, small table, large closet, window with room darkening curtains.

Living Room:
Features vintage scalloped wood paneling, sofa, widescreen TV on stand, board games, reclining armchair, rocking glider chair, coffee table, 2 side tables, lots of lamps, dog blankets, and large windows facing yard, with blackout curtains.

3rd bed:
Sofa in the living room folds out to a queen size bed, with thick mattress topper provided for added cushion, soft pillows and bed linens.

Kitchen & Dining:
Our large kitchen is fully stocked to make a gourmet meal, with a 6-person dining table in the same room, next to big sunny windows and more vintage wood paneling.

Includes fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, Brita water filter, ice in the freezer, automatic drip coffee maker, countertop dishwasher, indoor and outdoor dish ware and glasses. Coffee and tea staples provided and basic condiments, along with a few complimentary refreshments of soda, popcorn and granola bars.

Bathrooms:
The 2 bathrooms are small but have full amenities like standard shower/bathtubs with curtains, as well as sinks and toilets. One is connected to the master bedroom, and the other opens off the lounge. All stocked with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body and hand soap.

Front Porch:
Relax in the shade of our front porch like a local, while you enjoy our complimentary refreshments. The two side yards are connected to the front, also fenced, with gates dividing the front and back yards.

Backyard:
Our backyard is entirely fenced in, with a private wood fence 3/4 of the way, and chain link on one side, suitable for all kinds of dogs to be kept safely inside.

Watch your dog run around freely while you BBQ with your group with our gas grill at our 6-top patio table with sun umbrella, and another table nearby.

Solar string lights illuminate your night under the stars, and you can use our wood-burning fire pit too. Pick fruit from our pear tree and play our new Cornhole game with friends on the lawn.

Parking:
2 Covered parking spaces behind fence on side of house under large double carport with 3 steps up to the back entrance. There's also ample street parking in the front too, leading to a ground level entrance, on wide streets in our safe, quiet neighborhood.

The property had everything you could need, if fact, I would say it was better equipped than some of the very expensive homes. It was within walking distance of all the shops in Old Town Cottonwood. Nice fenced yard if you have dogs.

Had a wonderful stay at the Cowboy Cottage! Was perfect size for our group (4 adults small dog) for a 4-night trip. Had all the basics and amenities as shown in the listing. Felt very dog-friendly, including water/food bowls, blankets, treats, etc. Loved the close proximity to Old Town with plenty of restaurants with dog-friendly patios. Great landing spot, with easy driving access to Sedona, Jerome, and surrounding sights. Highly recommend as a pet-friendly, economical option with all the basics covered!

Once again we stayed at the Cowboy Cottage. Such a warm comfortable place to stay. Our puppies enjoyed playing in the yard. Being able to take a short walk to Main Street for dinning or to a local wine bar was a strong point for anyone. Golf is a 35-minute leisurely drive to Oak Creek. We highly recommend that you stay here.

Fun little house

We enjoyed our stay at this property and did lots of sight seeing. We appreciated that it was dog friendly and that we were able to park our trailers. The house could have been cleaner.

While only at the house overnight it had everything we needed. It was convenient to town and was located in a quiet neighborhood. We will recommend it to others. The only thing I would change is to offer better bed pillows!

Great location!

Loved staying here. The location was perfect for walking to Main street, yet tucked back in enough it was nice and quiet. We never ended up driving anywhere until we left as places to eat were so close as were all the shops on Main street. Would definitely stay here again.Also, really appreciated the fact that there were no scented plug ins in the house.I wish I had known about this place while my dog was alive, as he would have loved it here.

Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful weekend in Cottonwood visiting family with our little dogs. The house is adorable with a fantastic yard. The dogs could run around the yard and enjoy themselves. We enjoyed a movie in the living room and made dinners in the kitchen. We had everything we needed. Great location and beautiful area. Will definitely be booking again.

This place was perfect for us!! We loved the fenced yard for our dogs and kids. The neighbor waved every time and it’s a nice feeling to pull the car in the fenced car port at night. We were close to Jerome and lots of little places in Cottonwood. Loved Sedonuts down the street. The master shower has amazing water pressure. We are on a long road trip so getting caught up on laundry was awesome too. Great spot! Highly recommend.

This is a quiet, safe neighborhood with large trees and wide streets. Most importantly it is located in one of the most desirable parts of town, within a quick walk to the main street of old town Cottonwood, full of charming, local shops, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms.
Many of our guests enjoy day trips to nearby Jerome, 10 to 15 minutes drive, and Sedona, 20 to 30 minutes drive.
