Everything was great it sucked that I wasn’t able to check in early but overall the stay was pleasant. I would have given it a 5 star but the water pressure for the showers was so low. Everything was great though overall.

The house is very clean and very spacious. My group really enjoyed their stay. My only issue was with the water pressure. It was tough to take a shower without the water turning into a trickle.

We stayed at this property with seven adults for a golf trip and it exceeded our expectations. The home offered ample space for everyone, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate our group. The layout was ideal for both relaxing and gathering together after our rounds, and the property was well-maintained and equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended for larger groups looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

We stayed here Friday to Sunday. Our party was consisted of 10 adults and 4 kids. Upon reservation, the communication with the property owner was easy and fast. The property was tucked in the back, surrounded by trees, but easy to find. It is close to many shopping and grocery options. The property is well maintained. All instructions, expectations were clear and provided. All of the rooms were clean and very spacious. The bathrooms were also clean and had toiletries available. The kitchen had a lot of essentials as well, such as coffee pot, keurig, kettle, coffee, creamer. Since it was winter, we all stayed in and enjoyed the many activities they had such as billiards, foosball and boardgames. I imagine how amazing this property would be when it’s warmer. It has a hot tub, and a fire pit in the back that, unfortunately, we didn’t get to use. Great big family stay.

Wonderful Getaway

This home was large enough for 4 families to comfortably stay. Everything was clean and the location was close to water parks and hiking. The host was always quick to respond to questions. Thank you for the great stay!

Plenty of space

We had a big group staying for one night. The house was well equipped with beds, towels and a beautiful space for our kids to hang out and have fun.

30th birthday

It was a great space to have a gathering for my fiancés 30th birthday. It was spacious and there were a lot of places to sleep! We really enjoyed our time and will book again!

We had a great time at this mountain house. My crew consisted of 12 15 year old boys and 6 adults. The house was comfortably able to have all of us. Things we loved were:The room sizes The beds were super comfortable The cleanliness The location The living and family room spaces The ability to adjust the temperature in every room Things needs improvement were:Description of bedrooms does not match the house. There are not 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds each. There are 4 bedrooms with both bunk beds and 1 queen bed. We were still able to accommodate but at first it seemed like it may be a problem. There are not enough forks to accommodate 20 people. There were only 14 and we were 18 so we had to wait until some people were done to get others to eat. Not major but kind of a nuisance. The kcup machine didn’t work. There was a regular coffee pot but I only brought kcups because the host said that’s what she had. Again not a tragedy but kind of a nuisance. Luckily we found a bag of Ethiopian coffee in the house and we finished it. It was delicious! There is definitely a water pressure issue when running the kitchen sink and someone trying to take a shower. As other reviewers have stated you only get a trickle in the shower. The remote for the thermostat in the game room was missing as was the remote control to the tv in the master bedroom. Just an FYI. All in All it was great and I would come back again. Girls Trip!

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday, Girls Trip style. This house is beautiful and was exactly what we needed. The grounds were very icy due to the harsh weather conditions but the host made sure to send someone out to plow and salt right away. We had so much fun. I will definitely book with this host the next time I visit the Poconos.

Great stay to go skiing and visit Kalahari

The house was a great set up for 3 families to go skiing and visit Kalahari. The host was extremely responsive. It snowed one night, and the snow removal company was there plowing and shoveling early in the morning, so we had no problem exiting the house. Thank you!

Sad Surprise in the Propo

The shortage of running water inside the house has ruined out stay. There was no running water in 2nd & attic . The first floor has very little running water. Imagine our family consist of 17 individuals with kids and they were scrambling to the bathrooms and shower with no luck. I would have called 911 for this negligence and I am sure the property owner knew about it. Take off the listing please. I am requesting a refund.

More Attention

The day we arrived I spoke with the host who was very pleasant and helpful. As anyone would do, we checked out the house. Pros:Frig started getting warm, the host immediately sent over a mini frig. ThanksPrivate area, very roomy, beds were comfortable, kitchen was clean and had all the amenities as described, family, game and tv rooms were spacious. Loved the games in the game room.Cons:Starting with the outside, overgrown weeds needed to be cut down. They were growing alongside the perimeter of the house, coming through the opening of the wooded steps and had over grown into the driveway. Neither porch was swepted, and there were cobwebs everywhere. The 2 or 3 step on the side of the house needs to be attented to and some of the nails on the steps needs to be hammered down. Inside, the 3rd floor restroom shower fixtures do not work properly, it was only giving extremely hot water coming out of the shower head no matter which way you turned the handle. The room with the bump bed and single queen didn't have a remote so they never turn on their tv. Cobwebs were in the shower and hallway. 2nd floor restroom shower head spits out water, may need to be cleaned out or changed. The bedroom with the single queen bed tv did not work at all and the sticky pad was stuck to the trashcan. The bedroom with the bathroom had mildew or moled in the shower. Cobwebs was also in each bathroom. Cobwebs in hallway.Main level - recommend for curtains to be up at the (3) doors.

Great place for large groups!

This property was the perfect size for our large group of about 15 adults. We are an outdoor group that wanted to celebrate Friendsgiving together, where we could all cook a dish and relax. This spot was perfect for that; there were so many bedrooms, and all the bunks were full-sized. It's also SUPER close to the gorgeous state park for paddle sports and hiking! Cons: One bunk - was too close to the ceiling to use - thankfully we didn't need it. As it got colder the hot tub wouldn't heat to the full 106 degrees - making it too cold to use in the 50-40-degree weather - so the hot tub can't be used year-round. The fridge water dispenser might need a new filter as it dispenses slowly, however, the sink has a filtered water faucet that is much faster. Some complained the house was too cold - the HVAC system didn't heat warm enough. Pros: The area has lots of convenience within walking distance - Dollar General, Liquor store, neighbors - and lots of parking! The house itself is LARGE, with 4 full bathrooms, so many bedrooms, a washer and dryer, a LARGE backyard (not fully gated if that's a concern) with a propane fire pit on the porch, and a large wood patio next to the hot tub. There's a large faux fireplace heater in the living room/ games room (pool table/ ping pong etc) which is great. All-in-all, we loved it, with many friends saying they'd love to come back as long as the cons can be fixed, and I truly agree as well! Honestly, this is a great stay!
