Home away from home

The house and owners were amazing. We had plenty of room for my family and were close to many things. We enjoyed all of the space in the house as well as family time in the living room. Thanks for the great memories.

Great place

This house is really nice and very comfortable. We had 7 guys and plenty of room to hangout and comfortable beds. When we arrived we didn't have hot water and Richard was great and quick to deal with the issue. Richard and his house is first class. If your looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay look no further This is it. Thank you Richard

This was our 3rd year fishing on Lake Erie! This home was so close to Chelsea Charters and other establishments. The house was perfect for 6 couples.

Misleading

Don’t like to dwell on negatives but this property was challenging. A smart tv was stated in amenities that was only cable tv - with children that’s a challenge! I did inquire of the owner about it but was told there was cable. The 4th bedroom was a sofa bed in a foyer in the description but the foyer referred to is next to the FRONT DOOR. Very akward to put someone there to sleep in the middle of the house one foot from the front door! The microwave did not work and an exterminator to keep insects/ bugs out should be considered. So
on the flip side it was clean and located close to lots of activities.

I don’t need many words: stay here. It’s clean, beautiful, conveniently located, and simply perfect. Owners couldn’t have been more willing to communicate before during and after. Do yourself a favor and even consider spending a few more bucks to stay at this home.

Great Family Time!

Spacious and clean accommodations for our family. Kitchen was well stocked with room to cook and grill. Outdoor covered patio was used daily and the breeze was heavenly. Fortunately, I read reviews and bedroom details ahead as it is a 3 Bedroom home not 4 as stated in the description (4 bedroom would have been ideal)! We like to take walks but the busy street didn’t feel too safe so we made other arrangements. Centrally located to the Islands, Cedar Point and restaurants. We found a great spot for nightly Lake Erie sunsets and each one was beautiful. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable!

Great Stay

We were in Port Clinton for a family reunion. The main location did not have enough space for everyone so we rented this home. The location is great and the house was spotless. It had everything we could have needed and then some. The owners are wonderful people and were so gracious. I would highly recommend this property if you are in the area. We will be back for sure.

Disappointing Experience

Property was very clean and check in process was easy. The property description when we booked said 4 bedrooms. I should have read the reviews as this was not accurate. There were 3 available. The carpets and the furniture are covered in plastic and not welcoming. The home’s decor is dated and not what we were looking for on a family vacation. No easy access or view of the lake, and on a main busy road. We left after one night of a six night stay, and contacted the property owner when we left. After two VRBO messages and a phone call, we are yet to hear from them.
