Throughout your stay, we remained in regular communication with you by phone and responded promptly to your concerns. We arranged for our trusted handyman—who has worked with us for many years—to attend the property as soon as issues were raised. He addressed the items brought to our attention, and we stand fully behind his professionalism. We do not recognize or accept the statements attributed to him in this review. Guest safety and comfort are extremely important to us. Had there been any immediate safety concerns as described, we would have taken further action right away. This property is regularly maintained and enjoyed by many returning guests, and this is the first time we have received feedback of this nature. We made every reasonable effort to resolve concerns during your stay. Unfortunately, after your visit, you requested a level of compensation that we felt was not proportionate to the issues reported. When we were unable to meet that request, this review followed.
