Escape to the mountains at Winterset #02.



The Space:

This is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, and loft condominium in Mammoth Lakes. You will find yourself in a great location for entertainment. This is conveniently located in town within walking distance to shops and restaurants. During winter, the Green Line Shuttle travels to the Eagle Lodge and the Village. Parks, hiking and biking trails, and the Snowcreek Golf Course are enjoyable during warmer weather and only a short car ride away.



A large living room invites you to relax after a day's adventure. A stone fireplace creates a cozy ambiance and warms the room. Plenty of plush seating options circle a 32" flat screen TV. A DVD player, VCR, CD player, telephone (local calls only), wifi, and firewood are all provided for your entertainment. Slide open the balcony doors and let a crisp breeze inside. The private balcony has seating and a BBQ for grilling up dinner.



The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a slow cooker, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, wine opener and more. Just steps away, there is a dining table for 6.



Downstairs consists of the bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a King bed, TV, and an attached bathroom. The second bedroom has a similar set up with a King bed, TV, and attached bathroom. A bonus loft upstairs is perfect for housing the kids. There is a Twin over Full bunkbed, and trundle. A third full bathroom is available for your guests to share.



Winterset offers 2 assigned outdoor parking spots. The communal pool and BBQ stations are only open during the summer while the hot tub and the sauna are open year round.



Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.



This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

Amenities were decent, but a few things were disturbing. There was a hole in one of the sinks that looked like a hazard. Showers were clean, but only one set of towels were given for a 3 night stay. The provided soap was very low quality and barely usable. Furthermore, the couch had a funky smell to it. All in all, this place was by no means a horrible experience, but for the price I paid, I was expecting a better experience for me and my friends.

Comfortable convenient condo

Very nice location and accommodations. Bathrooms could use upgrades. Additional trash bags and supplies should be provided. Mgr was quick to fix fireplace we couldn’t get working. Overall very nice and I’d stay again. 2 full master suites and third full bathroom and loft with bunk bed made our stay great. Great location! Close to market and 10 min to Canyon lodge and village. Thanks!

This house was so cozy and comfortable. We had so much fun staying here. There was wood for us to set a fire n the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I even baked a cake for my boyfriend s birthday n had everything I needed. Very comfy beds n couch. Thank u for having us!

Furnishings were dated but we'll maintained. Kitchen was stocked well with cooking utensils. Only the Kuereg coffee maker needs to be replaced...Not functioning correctly. Beds were comfortable and clean. Everything overall was great!

The PRO is the location in town, the CON is the many details that you won't know until you are there

Love the location, close to shopping and the movie theater. So many little issues while there. The tv in the downstairs bedroom is not connected to cable so not useful at all. We were there when it was over 85 degrees and over 1/2 of the windows did not open to cool off the unit. Sleeps 8 but as far as the kitchen is concerned there was not enough tableware and dishes to serve 8 people unless the dishwasher was in continual use. Plenty of pots and pans along with small appliances. Shower in downstairs unit needs cleaned. Kitchen sinks faucet was not attached and moved around. The BBQ on the balcony is very nice and we used that for burgers. We paid $185 cleaning fee but were told to take out the trash when we left and to leave no dirty dishes. The wifi was free & we used that. Plenty of parking.

Very Pleasant Stay

We had a group of 6 and there was more than enough room. Could easily fit 8 if people are willing to share the king beds (3 of them), and the fact that there are 3 full bathrooms is really nice. The place was very clean and there was a bunch of fresh towels and soaps/shampoos, etc. The kitchen was very well stocked (contrary to other reviews) with utensils, plates, glasses and cookware. The pictures don't give the place justice. We all found the place to be way nicer in person. There is a really nice fireplace that keeps the place really warm when it's cold and there was extra wood on the deck. Very good location (only a mile away from the village). Only thing we would like to see changed is the check in time and check out time. 5pm and 10am are typically later and earlier than what we normally see. Would definitely recommend to future travelers and would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Great location, but poorly stocked.

Location is great, easy to walk to stores and restaurants, bus lines and trails. Kitchen is poorly stocked, no kettle, lacking in eating utensils, no extra trash bags, burned out light bulbs, etc.. Cleaning was..... fair. Cobwebs, dishwasher full, and carpets puffed up with dust when shoes were dropped. Won't rent this one again.

Wonderful spacious condo in a great location.

Had a great stay here. Lots of room and super comfortable beds. Only area that needs improvement is the stocking of the kitchen with baking dishes, cooking bowls, etc.

Nice property. Would go back

I am not sure if the owners now, and it could be fine. The dishwasher was full - clean but full. There were cobwebs, but otherwise the place was clean, bathrooms were nice and it was helpful that there were three. The window in the loft probably needs some type of curtain. I wish the map was better at describing how to get to the specific unit. You walk around to what would be the back side, also a note re-each set of keys (each set contained a "spa" key and a "house" key), so if one key does not open the door try the other. The Townhome was super convenient to everything, bed was comfortable, heaters work well. We would go back to this unit.
