Nestled in Ocean Isle Beach just 1/2 mile from the oceanfront, this delightful house offers 4 cozy bedrooms - 1 king, 2 queens, and 1 with two twin beds. Two full bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers . Updated fully stocked kitchen with electric appliances and granite counter tops.

Start your day sipping coffee from a rocking chair on the covered deck overlooking the waterway. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like whole house Wi-Fi, private office space, a downstairs game room with ping pong and foos ball tables, or sip drinks and relax at the outdoor bar area while watching the sun go down or catching the game on the big screen TV. Fire up the large gas grill for some fresh burgers or walk to Pelican's Perch and the Center Park for putt putt golf, outdoor concerts, or visit the Coastal Carolina Museum, all less than 1/2 mile from the house.

Take an evening walk, ride the bikes around the island, or enjoy the 2 kayaks on the ICW - your choice as they come with the property rental. Have a boat under 30ft? Tie it up overnight at the attached floating dock with fish cleaning station.

Enjoy all the conveniences of home in the spacious open kitchen featuring electric appliances, an air fryer, a dual pot/k cup coffee maker, and all the dishes, cookware, glasses, knives and dishes you could ever need. Off Duty was a wonderful OIB getaway for our family. We loved the themed rooms and all of the activities to do on the property. It was great watching the sunset in the rocking chairs on the deck, and we enjoyed grilling out back. Will stay again!

Milestone Birthday Beach Trip for my wife with Friends. Dan and Kathy's beach house was perfect for our long beach weekend with friends. The house is well appointed and super comfortable. They have truly thought of everything down to bedside phone chargers. The downstairs bar area and garage game room was awesome !! They even added a very personal touch of having a Happy Birthday door banner and a gift pack of goodies !! Very classy touch that my wife truly appreciated... Dan is very easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. Rent this home for your OIB trip!!.. you'll be glad you did !!

Best vacation home!

Dan & Kathy thought of everything with their home. The house was beautiful and clean, and had everything we could have needed during our stay. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the porch was spacious, and it was nice and quiet on the canal. There was plenty to do in the house even on rainy days—board games, cards, foosball, and the ping pong table were a hit with the kids. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you Kathy & Dan!

Great property!! Kayaks/paddleboard/ ping pong table/ foosball table were big hits with everybody and ofcourse the backyard with the dock. With a family of 8 with half being kids 5-15 the 4 bedrooms with 2 common full bathrooms was convenient. Everybody had a great time!!!

Amazing!

Beautiful home! Clean and stocked with everything you could need. They truly thought of everything! The kayaks and paddle board were so fun and relaxing to cruise along the canal. The bar area downstairs is a very cool hang out as well as the garage with ping pong table and foosball. Everything was perfect.

July OIB Vacation

We had a wonderful experience of the "Off-Duty" VRBO in Ocean Isle Beach. The place was comfortable and perfect for us with the room layout, game room, back porch, office work area and bar area . We were impressed with the cleanliness of the home, the appliances and cookware and supply of all needed essentials. We used the kayaks, ping pong table and foosball table which made our visit more fun. Dan and Kelly were terrific hosts and responded quickly to any questions. Anytime we stay at OIB, I will definitely try to stay at the "Off-Duty' VRBO.

Amazing House

This house is amazing! Our family loved fishing off the dock and we also loved hanging out downstairs at the bar at night. The house was very clean and comfortable. Dan was very quick to respond to all of my questions. I definitely recommend this house for your next vacation.

What an incredible home with everything needed to enjoy our family beach trip. We loved cooking in the kitchen and eating on the covered porch. Having beach chairs and bikes, kayaks, outdoor games and the extra refrigerator was so nice. The beds were very comfortable and all the decor throughout the home was so beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. We will def be back!!!! Thank you again!

Perfect Spring Break!

My sister and I brought our tweens/teens down for 4 nights over Spring Break and this house did not disappoint! Perfect location for the boys to walk to the beach and the park to play basketball with friends. The downstairs was the highlight of the house with a garage full of activities for the kids and an amazing bar/tv outside for us moms to hang out and watch the kids. The house itself was amazing and very well stocked and organized. Beds super comfy as well. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Beachy Getaway

We booked this beach house for a long weekend for three couples, and it was perfect for our group. We enjoyed our morning coffee rocking in the rocking chairs on the covered deck, while watching the canal and the big boats going up and down the ICW. We loved that we could watch the holiday flotilla boats go by right from the dock at the house! It was about a half mile walk to the beach, one mile to 59 Causeway, OIFC and Sharky’s... but loved that there were 5 bikes available for us to use to explore the rest of the island. The house is cute with a beachy feel - especially the themed bedrooms. We liked that the kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough dishes, pots and pans, etc. it even had some basic spices which worked out great when we grilled out one evening! The downstairs bar was really cool and we enjoyed hanging out there to watch some college football games. Owners responded quickly to our questions and provided helpful suggestions for things to do and places to eat - including suggesting some local spots! If you don't want to walk or ride bikes, you may want to consider renting a golf cart. We are looking forward to coming back during the summer to enjoy this house again!!

Well worth it!

Rented the house for a guys fishing trip. Great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach access. House is right on the ICW, with a nice dock to fish off of or just relax. We grilled out a couple of nights and enjoyed hanging out at the downstairs bar area. Awesome. House is fully loaded. Will rent again for our next fishing trip!
