Enjoy a fabulous single-family home central to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth, VA. With four bedrooms, it easily sleeps eight people and accommodates a few extra people for larger groups on a quiet cul-de-sac. It is only a 30-minute drive to the beach and is close to Universities and areas hosting sport competitions.

The breakfast nook and back deck offer a picturesque view of the lake. The house has plenty of space for relaxing, and there is an office area for those who need to stay productive.
Upon arrival, guests will find amenities such as soap, coffee, and laundry pods to start their stay immediately. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

This location is excellent for military TAD/TDY assignments. This location is 17 miles to NOB and 12 miles to Oceana Naval Air Station.

Families, sports teams, military personnel, and business travelers have used this home and found it a perfect place for those longer stays.

Nice property that accommodated a family of 7!

The host was very responsive and accommodated an unplanned extra day on the stay. The property is in need of some updating, but it was clean and was suitable for our needs. Having the pond in the backyard with being able to view wildlife from the breakfast table was nice.

We stayed here for 11 nights and the experience was a mixed bag. When we arrived I was surprised by the condition of the exterior of the house. The front porch wooden railing was old and broken in places and there were cob webs everywhere. Inside the house, I found broken and stained furniture, old and stained area rugs, broken railing for the stairs, items left by the previous guests including food trash and dirty clothing, dust on the furniture and the floors were filthy. I contacted the host and he asked for photos which I provided. I requested that the cleaning crew come back ASAP but didn’t have anyone come until 3 days later - the host said it was the soonest he could get someone. I used cleaning cloths, the broom and vacuum located in the house and did what I could just to make it better for our stay. The other cons include toilets that run without flushing, and both showers are in serious need of faucet repairs - low water pressure and problems when you divert the water from tub to shower. I reported this also and it was not fixed during my stay. Pros: the view. Updated A/C, appliances, cookware, TVs, linens, and the beds were in good condition and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to what we needed. The host was sympathetic to our concerns but was unable to rectify all the problems we had. We would have moved but there were no other properties that could meet what we needed in terms of stay-length, size and location.

Traveled from out of state to this property with my wife and in-laws for a family member graduation. Upon arrival, we were disappointed by the worn exterior and the lack of cleanliness inside. The floors were dirty, surfaces were dusty, and tables and counters didn't appear to have been wiped down. The next morning, we found a moldy coffee pod in the Keurig, a dirty toaster oven, and dishes with mold in the cupboards. We ended up buying paper plates and cups because we didn't trust the kitchen items. We chose to overlook these issues so we could focus on spending time with family.The primary bathtub floor is soft, the stair railing is loose and should be stabilized. Guests should know there is no bedroom or shower on the first floor, which could be difficult for guests with mobility limitations. (We knew prior).On day 4, we received a water shutoff notice for non-payment and notified the host. Later that same day, we discovered a gas leak that required the fire department to respond. The gas meter was red-tagged, leaving the home without hot water, and we had to move into two hotel rooms for the rest of our stay.The host communicated well initially and agreed to a partial refund, but it took nearly two weeks and multiple calls to VRBO before it was processed. I felt like I had to manage the situation instead of being taken care of. I cannot recommend this property until these significant issues have been addressed. Please use caution when booking. Very disappointed.

During the stay, no concerns were communicated to the host, thereby providing an opportunity for any issues to be addressed promptly. It was only at the conclusion of the period that multiple complaints were received, which had not been previously reported. The guest supplied photographs, some of which required considerable effort to access elevated positions on furniture in order to document the challenges or dirt. We wish them success in future engagements with other hosts.
