The Cozy Portland Retreat is an excellent jumping off point to explore Portland. The hostess, Chatt, is incredibly communicative and easy to work with - making check in and out a breeze. The unit is located in a safe and clean neighborhood - and is walking distance to Whole Foods and good coffee shops. The pictures are a great representation of the space, and is very comfortable for a couple or family of four. It is clear that Chatt takes pride in and maintains the unit. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we are in Portland.

The house lives up to its name. Very cozy & quaint house. Communication was great. Easy check in. Super easy to find, too.

Portland visit

This is a very nice well kept property in a nice quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and grocery within walking distance. Chat was a great host, she communicated great and accommodated some last minute requests I had. Would stay here again!

The ad doesn't accurately describe the property. Two bedrooms were advertised. They were down very steep stairs while the bathroom was upstairs. The ad doesn't say that one of the "bedrooms" was actually a closet! There was a bedroom with another bed in a walk in closet. tiny and dark. The place was pretty clean, but there were so many dusty plastic plants and fabric decorations that couldn't be adequately cleaned that it felt musty and dirty. The property was filled with perfumed items, every room had at least three or four perfumed decorations. Like old infusion sticks, sticky with oil. I am allergic to perfume and spent the first hour finding all the smelly things and removing them to a closet so I could breathe. It took two days to get the smell out, with open windows and fans. I do not recommend this place especially for people in their 70's who can't navigate long steep stairs to get to the bathroom. Also, there were little moths flying around the kitchen and living room. Finally, the instructions in the ad were wrong, the code given was wrong, and the instructions were hard to follow.
