We live on the top floor, ensuring you’ll have all the privacy you need while knowing we’re nearby if you need assistance or recommendations for the area. Whether you’re here to explore the great outdoors or relax by the creek with a good book, our space is designed to make your stay upstate a good one.

The Creek House is also perfectly situated near some of the region's most iconic attractions. Take a 15-minute drive to the Saugerties Lighthouse, a charming spot where the Hudson River meets the Catskill Mountains. Creek magic

Cozy place. Gorgeous scenery; the sound of the creek was very relaxing. Location: close to Woodstock shoppes and Saugerties Village. Hosts were great. Place was impeccable.

creekside escape

We were in the area to see a band at a venue in Woodstock, selected this property because it was pet-friendly and only a 10 minute drive to The Colony bar.There were a couple of small things not found in the rental, but the owners quickly responded to our request. Communication was always top notch!We enjoyed the creek setting on the side of the property. There's a fire pit and chairs located there and we saw an amazing display of lightning bugs at dusk. That was truly magical!

Peaceful retreat

We were visiting the Woodstock area to see our daughter performing at Woodstock Playhouse. The Creek House was the absolute perfect home base! Our hosts were lovely - got to meet them as we drove up. Their attention to detail was evident everywhere we looked from the sweet welcome message and cookies to the bedtime “story” they left for us to the care they clearly take of their property. (They even put up an arbor and planted flowers during our stay.). My husband could have happily spent the entire stay down by the creek listening to the water and enjoying the scenery. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing - a far cry from our own hectic lives. Our hosts were incredibly communicative and quick with responses to questions, even providing a perfect suggestion of somewhere for me to get a long run in during our stay. The space itself was large with everything we could need. I would definitely stay again if we’re ever back in the area and would recommend the Creek House to family and friends.
