Summary:
This private 2 bedroom unit is close to the fairways of the Keauhou Golf Course. Enjoy the blue water views and endless golf on your tropical vacation. PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS NO AC IN THE UNIT. Maximum occupancy strictly enforced in accordance with local ordinances.

The living room is furnished with a flat screen TV and a dining table for 4. The fully equipped kitchen is great for homemade meads with an electric stove top, coffee maker, blender and more.

The Space:
The master bedroom has a King bed w/ TV and a small workspace. Wifi is provided in case you need to get some work done! The guest bedroom has 2 Twin beds so it's perfect when you're traveling as a family. PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS NO AC IN THE UNIT.

We provide 2 beach chairs and 1 cooler for guest use.

You will be close to shopping, dining, theaters and only a short walk to the Keauhou Bay! The complex provides free wifi located at the pool area. Keauhou Resort has an outdoor pool surrounded by tropical shrubbery. Lounge and patio seating can be found out here as well. Shared coin laundry facilities are available.

Keauhou Resort creates a relaxing Hawaiian escape with stunning views of the Hawaii ocean. Vacationers will find plenty of Kailua Kona activities at their fingertips from this location. The Keauhou Shopping Center, Regal Cinemas Keauhou 7, and Kona Country Club Golf Course are all a short drive or Uber away. The beach is just down the street perfect for swimming, surfing, and walking on besides the water.

Please note:
- Pets may be present on the property, as year-round residents are permitted to have them.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.

Other Things to Note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

The condo and location are awesome! The grounds around the complex and the pool are very well kept and beautiful. Second time we’ve stayed in a condo at Keauhou Resort!

Nice place, but having AC would help a lot. It was too hot.I also bought and installed outdoor hose to wash out sand. Hope it won't be removed and can be helpful for the next guests.

Perfect spot on the Big Island

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lovely condo. The location was perfect, and the view of the sunsets were beautiful. The condo had everything we needed, including extras to enjoy at the beach. Our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time on the Big Island.

Good stay

I gave this 4 stars because the location and resort are very quiet but yet, close to all the ammenities you need. We found several huge cockroaches, the pull-out sofa bed was covered in dirt and sand when i pulled it out, the outlets by the upstais bthroom sont work and one outlet in the living room doesnt work. Upstairs shower also had bugs in the corner that kept coming out from between the tub and wall. Youll have all the gecko friends you need on the lanai though and a gorgeous view of the sunsets.

Fantastic condo in a beautiful location

This was a really great place to stay. The condo was easy to find, with its own parking space right outside. It's was well cleaned and the kitchen was equipped with everything you might need - and they even left chocolates - such a nice touch!I was a bit worried it didn't have air conditioning but it wasn't an issue at all, despite the weather being quite hot. Every window had a good quality bug screen so we could sleep with everything open. The view from the lanai was spectactular - we got some great sunsets and stargazing. It was also within walking distance of Keauhou harbor where you can take kayaking, snorkelling, manta ray tours. I would really recommend this place.

Very good stay, enjoyed the atmosphere! This and many properties make a point of no smoking at condo and grounds, which I understand and really don’t mind, but it appears that doesn’t appear to apply to smoking pot? Didn’t enjoy the odor permeating from nearby condos.

Post holiday vacation

This condo was in a lovely setting. Convenient to access beaches and local Kona attractions yet in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment had a nice view. Two good size balconies. Minimal stock in kitchen re: spices or anything like that but good appliances and dishes, etc. Great set up for a family as there were twin beds for our boys. Very open setting with kids room/ bath on main floor and my husband and I downstairs with our own bathroom. Not 100% private but we were fine with it. The only thing I would say that would be beneficial would be a nightlight in downstairs bathroom area as it gets quite dark at night but too bright to leave on overhead light. We would definitely love to return.

the gecko poop on the walls and fixtures was everywhere ants and cockroaches were everywhere called grand welcome the property manager got no help from them payed alot of money to stay in a very dirty condo very disappointed

Wade - We have it noted in your welcome email that there are critters on the island and we try our best to keep them out and the cleanliness up to par. We did send a team out right away once you let us know about the gecko issues. The team also offered to refund you your cleaning fee, but you declined.

No AC

There was no AC in this townhouse. It was a miserable experience to sleep in the hot house. We asked a property manager for an assistance and maybe a portable AC, which they told us they don't have and can't provide it. Let me say, several night sleeping in a hot house was an awful experience and I would not advise it to anyone. In a year 2023, I was thinking that in US everyone has AC's, I was wrong. This place doesn't!

Stay In February 2023 - 3.5 Stars

My wife, 2 adult children & I, stayed in early Feb 2023. W/all the Cons, most I believe can be addressed, we enjoyed our stay. My wife, & children would stay again (winter only). I would not stay again due to no AC. I would have rated 3.5 stars, but not an option. 4 stars if AC. 5 Stars if AC & Cons were addressed. Pros: Review sec. does not allow enough text characters to provide full feedback, so I only listed the Cons. Cons: No AC. Was tolerable but we were sticky. New toaster need (piece of junk). Convection oven blows hot air in to room. Would be fine if was AC. Not a sharp knife in the place. Lots of old serrated knives you can saw your food w/though. New can opener needed. Deck lighting abysmal. You can’t see much & no regular candles are allowed. Clothes washer seal was gross (mold/clogged up). We own this same washer. FL washers need to be left open to dry out, & cleaned periodically. Should be sign indicating so, & that FL washers need to be drain between uses. There was nothing to drain it with. TV was difficult to use. Batteries dying?? Sliding door to mstr bdrm did not slide. Since no AC you will open it every day, & close it every time you leave. Balcony sliding screen doors - one bent & in need of new rolls? Upstairs sink & mirror area - no privacy. Couch uncomfortable. Fan blowing on you all night if you want to keep cool. Screen-door in/out of unit closes harshly. Nothing to write with/on. No scissors to open bags.

Great condo

Beautiful condo with an amazing view. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The only downside as others have noted is the lack of AC. However, it does cool down considerably at night and there are plenty of large fans to help with cooling. Location is fairly close to Kona and other beaches.

Nice location

Nice location and convenient for daily outings. Beach chairs, coolers, and boogie board supplied. Daily encounters with geckos on the deck. Only down side was the most uncomfortable couch and the fact that the upper bedroom is not closed off to sound and light from living room. Thank you for making vacation pleasurable.

Wonderful family wedding get-together

Once we got into the property, it was great! We had some trouble figuring out all of the Covid documents needed and the procedures required to get them submitted. But, the 24-hour management company phone line was helpful and someone helped us complete most of the necessary requirements as we were departing on our trip before sunrise ET. We got an extension on the other family members' requirements as they were arriving a day later. It all worked out and we greatly enjoyed the unit - its spaciousness, layout, and beautiful view, as well as easy access to shopping and restaurants.

Property was good management fine clarify no AC in any room on listing , provide pods and bags for the number of days people are staying fix lanai so can retract otherwise good time will look elsewhere though if pod/bag not addressed since we travel frequently and have never been nickel and dimed for these essentials.

Great spot!

Terrific unit to enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer. Beautiful tropical setting with stunning views. We literally lived on the deck which was one of the best spots to enjoy sunsets, tropical plants, ocean-views and an abundance of beautiful bird watching opportunities. Great location and convenient to snorkeling, shopping and most activities. Highly recommended.

Quiet & relaxing

My husband and I, with our adult son, enjoyed a quiet and relaxing time in this condo. The floor plan allowed for space and privacy yet a sense of togetherness. Likewise with the 2 decks, one with a lovely ocean and goof course view. We were not looking to be “in the action” so the distance to Kona village was ok for us, a 20-30 min drive but certainly doable. A shopping center was within walking distance and offered grocery, drug store, shopping and great restaurant options. A snorkeling/diving tour company was also within walking distance and provided a lovely day on the water. We also enjoyed walking to the Friday market near the Sheraton and spending time at the condo pool. My only recommendation is to remove or tuck in the bed ruffle. Centipedes are native here, and we found them in the bed until we tucked in the bed ruffle under the mattress. That took care of this common local problem. We would certainly stay here again.

Location location

Perfect location - lovely views, easy access to everywhere but you do need a car. Comfy beds, nice kitchen with decent equipment! No access to Amazon or Netflix so TV rarely used - appreciated the telescope and seeing the rings of Saturn though!! Upstairs deck awning could not be used so main floor heated up during day but that is a pretty minor grumble as we were out and about most days.
