Cette maison extrêmement confortable et moderne dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert avec des planchers de bois franc partout, des comptoirs en granit dans la cuisine et la salle de bain principale. Il n'y a pas seulement un, mais deux foyers confortables dans la maison - le chauffage au bois dans le salon et le foyer au gaz dans la chambre principale. Toute la maison est meublée avec goût pour un maximum de confort et de plaisir. Vous pouvez vous asseoir et profiter de la vue sur l'océan depuis le salon, la cuisine, la terrasse et l'arrière-cour. Cette maison se trouve à côté d'un terrain ouvert privé - depuis le pont, vous voyez des cerfs et des chevaux paître. Il y a une télévision dans chaque chambre. Beautiful location

The view brings us back again and again. The owners were very responsive when the microwave gave out. We love this place. Be aware they request no shoes inside due to wood floors… a bench by the door might be helpful for putting on shoes. But the house is perfect for adults and guests, private space is great! A winner.

Very nice house, very nice location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked the layout of the home as well as the added feeling of semi-seclusion. The view and soundscape made us happy with roaming deer and sea lions barking in the distance. This is one that we will put on our favorites list and we will be returning soon for a longer stay!!!Thanks for the great experience!

Beautiful location, inside very clean, well supplied kitchen, Culligan water system & being able to park in the garage a nice perk. Easy walking distance to beautiful hiking trails. The outside decks were not cleaned recently, had to clean the decks & chairs so could sit outside & read. Need to update outside amenities. Their are things listed or shown in picture that are no longer there or useable. We had a very pleasant & enjoyable stay.

Peaceful getaway

The location of this property right next to an open space was perfection. We saw families of deer crossing the field and coming towards the house while eating breakfast, viewing the ocean from all the windows in the main living room area wasn't too shabby either. Kitchen was pretty well appointed, the DVD and VHS collection were pretty fun to go through and gave us something to watch when it rained one morning. If anything could be improved, it would be to make the third bedroom downstairs feel more put together. One room looked more like an office/storage closet. The multiple sets of keys and garage opener were great. Check in and check out went smoothly, it was only a minor inconvenience to go to a separate place to pick them up.

Could Be Better

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was just OK. Which is a shame because it is evident that with a little thought and a small investment the owner could elevate their guest's stay from mediocre to excellent. Please be aware - there are tile steps leading into and out of the master bath shower which are unsafe for elderly people. The only other shower is a tub shower downstairs which is difficult/unsafe for an elderly person to get into and out of. The house needs - new comfortable beds and bedding in all three downstairs bedrooms; fresh paint throughout; the downstairs water closet toilet seat was gross and needs replaced; the back yard looks like a wonderful space but was dirty and unkept so was not usable; there was a light sconce missing in the downstairs bathroom, the bathroom rugs are too thick and have to be moved out of the way to close the door then replaced after opening the door; the automatic lights in the downstairs hallway became annoying. Please forgive me I don't mean to criticize too harshly. The location and view from the living area were wonderful. I was disappointed knowing that with a little thought and effort on the owner's part the house could be really nice instead of just ok

Lots of wildlife, deer, hawks, etc. The inside of the house is very clean. We are an asthma/allergy family and typically have to take medicine when traveling but we had absolutely no issues here. The backyard is not very well maintained, lots of spiderwebs. But overall, we had a great stay.

Great backyard for family bbqs, hanging out. What we liked: location, comfy beds (master and queen downstairs), great movie selection, and fully stocked kitchen. Bright, sunny during the day. What we didn’t love as much—-the very cool lighting and open plan affected the “comfy factor” at night. All in all, recommend. Bring extra blankets or comforters if you like to sleep with the windows open!

Location, location, location!

However, a couple annoyances... the auto lights kept turning on randomly at night in the master. And the heating ducts and blower are very loud. The bedrooms could use some block out shades as the light outside are auto sensors and light up the room every time a critter is detected.That said, it has everything you need and the view is unbeatable. But the owners really should address some of these minor issues.

My visit

Unfortunately, I have to agree with everything stated in the September 2022 review by Lisa. Such a great location but the house needs some TLC especially on the lower level bedrooms. I’ve notified the property manager with my concerns but I still think I need to give future renters a heads up. There are better homes for less money to rent in Cambria. I will not be returning to this home.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not really impressed with this house. We left a day early. Out of date linens, from the bed sheets to the towels. They were tattered. The towels were something I would use for car wash towels. Not private at all the neighbors could see right in the backyard patio area and most of the windows. The decor was so out of date not a beach feel at all in this house. The house needs repairs and needs to be painted. There is no pride of ownership with this house at all. The AC had a code on it so we could not use it. It was a very uncomfortable stay we ended up leaving a day early because we were just not comfortable.

Relaxing Getaway

Reviewer Comments: Although the accommodations were nice but there were a few things that would have made our stay less frustrating and more enjoyable. It would have been nice to have an information packet explaining things such as: How to operate the sound system and TV. Also, the heater. It was quite complex. The yard needed attention. There was a lot of debris on the patio. The BBQ had not been cleaned out in quite some time and needed attention. Only one set of grill bars would light. The dishwasher was out of order . The property management did take car of both of those items.

House’s location is great but we have stayed in much nicer homes for less money.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time with two grade-school kids in Cambria—beautiful ocean hikes in Fiscalini and tide pools within walking distances, with cafes, great beaches and horseback riding only a short drive away. Very quiet relaxing neighborhood and pasture next door was as described. House was nice, but they skimped on some basics. Eg Dishes seemed like leftovers — no good bowls or glasses —and no shampoo, small thing but meant we had to run out soon after we got there. Also hot tub in pictures no longer there.
